Night fell on the island, now sitting around the campfire was a great deal of bruised Dragon-slayers.
Natsu was rubbing a bruise on his forearm, all whilst glaring at Cobra who was chomping on a Smore, trying to be intimidating but failing when the marshmallow kept getting stuck to the top of his mouth.
Finally, somebody spoke up and interrupted the menacing silence.
"Why don't we tell stories?" The white Dragon-slayer suggested.
"Ghost stories?" Gajeel said with a smirk
"Wendy is here, so keep the stories child-friendly in every way," Laxus who had Wendy leaning on him said, much to everybody's surprise.
"Go ahead and set the bar sky dragon" Rouge muttered.
She sat up and was thinking when an Idea came to her head.
"I've got a really good one! This is about a really sweet doggy I met one time, her name was Trixie, she was about as big as I was and was really sweet-" She was cut off by Gajeel.
"Not that that's not all great and all but it's not gonna get any reactions doll." he cleared his throat and pulled a guitar from seemingly thin-air.
"This is a song I like to call, the campfire song"
"Isn't that from a kids show?" The poison dragon slayer questioned.
"What no!" Gajeel replied.
"here we go;
The Campfire is cool
shoo bee do
I wish Laxus would throw himself in
Yep, yep, yep"
"I'm gonna kick your face in" Laxus carried the tune, interrupting the want-to-be singer.
"I'm gonna throw some punches if you don't let me finish my damned song."
"WATCH YOUR MOUTH THERE IS A CHILD" Sting yelled and quickly shuffled over the log, seat and covered sweet Wendy's poor ears.
"She's in Fairy Tail, she's probably heard worse.." Rouge responded.
"WHAT DID YOU SAY ABOUT US" Natsu roared.
"He said Fairy Tail isn't good with kids" Cobra spoke for the shadow-dragon,
"WE ARE SO GOOD WITH KIDS" He shouted and lunged at Cobra for the second time that day.
Everybody made Cobra an example and decided to just go inside before they could possibly get dragged into that mess.
