Let's start off with a classic, now, shall we? (I won't go too deep into this one since there are several other detailed scrolls about it.)
Darkstalker's legend is a terrifying tale. It has been a nightmare of the IceWing and NightWings tribes for centuries.
This monstrous horror story, however, begins with Foeslayer, Darkstalker's mother, and Arctic, his father. It was around 3,000 years after the Scorching that Arctic and Foeslayer met. Arctic was an animus dragon, the last in the Ice Kingdom. It has been believed that Foeslayer stole Arctic because the NightWings didn't have an animus in their tribe. Arctic and Foeslayer had two dragonets: Darkstalker and Whiteout.
Darkstalker, by the time he was grown, was a powerful dragon. Being hatched under three full moons (unlike his sister), he had strong telepathic and prophetic abilities. And with his father being an animus, he was hatched with the same power (also unlike his sister).
This powerful Night-Ice dragon was close friends with Fathom, the grandson of Albatross. It was for Fathom and Darkstalker's lover, Clearsight, that Darkstalker enchanted three star sapphires. These sapphires became one of the greatest animus-touched objects in all of history. They enable the user to visit another's dream if they are in a deep enough sleep. The three dreamvisitors were meant to keep Darkstalker, Clearsight, and Fathom in touch no matter how far apart they are. These weren't the only fantastic things he enchanted, though. Darkstalker had claimed that he found a way to enchant himself to be immortal.
Eventually, Darkstalker became explicitly too powerful. The entire NightWing tribe became wary of him, and the rumours that he planned to overthrow the queen and take over as king of the Night Kingdom didn't help. Driving himself to hatered, Darkstalker enchanted his own father to obey his every command. Under this spell, Arctic was forced to disembowel himself. The entire NightWing tribe was frightened into fleeing their home.
Clearsight and Fathom decided that Darkstalker was too dangerous and power-hungry to be on the loose. For the first time since the SeaWing massacre, Fathom used his animus magic to enchant Clearsight's bracelet to put Darkstalker to sleep forever.
It is said that Clearsight had been the one to put the bracelet on him herself. No one knows where the Darkstalker is buried or where the NightWings have fled.
Some even say that the Darkstalker is still out there and is planning his revenge.
