Oppa

Chapter One

"Oppa!" I yelled running to Jin. He turned around with a smile giving his attention on me. I smiled back and ask, "We're meeting at the end of the day right?"
"Yea, same old spot and be sure to be on time." He warned me as I nodded along.
"Ye ye I'll try not to be late." I said raising my hand waving goodbye as I walked backwards. I turned around to see my friends walking down the hall. "Hey girls!" I waved at them as I walked over to them.
"Hey! Have you heard of the new kid!" So-yi asked all excited.
"I actually heard his kinda cute," Yoon-hee respond "they also said that his in our class."
"Well I guess we get see if it is true." I said as we head to our class. When I walked in the class half of the kids are in their textbooks as the others are whispering to each other. I scanned the room to see a new face. Well, seems like we do got ourselves a new kid. I went all the way of be back of the class of the empty desk and sat there as my friends sat in front of me.
"Omg! It's so true! He is totally cute!" Yoon-hee whispered .
"He is way more then cute but Eunjin what's your opinion?" So-yi asked.
"I agree his not bad at all", I respond.
I saw Jin come in as some girls, who were not in our class, were out the window looking and squealing. I smiled and looked to my other side where you could see the school's field, listening to the girls.
   The class president tells us to stand for our teacher, Mr.Jung coming in. Once we sat down I focused my attention to the teacher.
"Good morning," he greeted and we respond the same to him " you may sit. Today we have a new kid." He said as the kid stood up and went to in front of the class.
"Annyeonghaseyo my name is Ji Sung. I moved from overseas and I'll be a new classmate in the meantime." He introduced himself. As I said he is good looking, especially with a deep voice he surely will capture the girls from our school. Before he left to sit down I notice he looked at me which I smiled and he returned the same. Well for sure his well mannered also. This will definitely have the girls faint. I focused my attention back on the teacher.
Break came and I stood up to use the ladies room. I washed my hands and looked in the mirror fixing myself. I walked out of the ladies room and went to the cafeteria where everyone else was. I saw Ji Sung alone looking lost as many of the girls stare at him. I decided to walk up to him.
"Hello I'm Eunjin!" I smiled at him. I noticed I got the same look that some of the other guys give. "You need some help?" I asked as he seem to came back to reality and nod. "Well let's head in this line," I suggested. "So tell me about yourself ?" I asked
"I don't know it depends on what you mean by that", he respond as grabbing a tray.
"Like what do like to do in your spare time", I said.
"Hmm... Well on warmly days once I finished schoolwork I head out to play soccer or basketball. After that I'd spend my time playing with my instruments. I'd also help my mom with cooking and go out sometimes going into stores that are artsy," he answers "and how about you what type of person are you?" I took me a while to focused and think about what he asked.
"Well I- I am a person who doesn't rarely stutters but after school... I eat once I get home or if I already eaten I'll watch some tv or go out", I answered.
"Kinda does seem like you", he says.
"Pardon?" I said confused
"Well you seem like a person who would go shopping but I mean that's kinda everyone though it may not be clothes. Some would go shop for movies, video games, food, instruments, or furniture", I smiled at what he said nodding in agreement.
"Well why don't you come sit with us for now till you get to start to know more people", I asked him and he accepted. As we walked to the table I see the girls flirty with some guys. "What so funny?" I asked.
"Oh uh hey Eunjin" one of them said nervously as the other looked awkward and also nervous. I gave them a slight smile.
"I thought it would of been nice to have Ji Sung to eat with us today." I told them and they have their attention to him. I looked at the other boys as they got up and left. The whole lunch time the girls talk to Ji Sung asking him question after question. Once I got up to get throw my trash away I notice someone blocking my way. I looked up to see some kid who I didn't even recognized.
"Hey your alright?" I heard a voice. I turned to see Ji Sung there and nod my head to continue my walk to the trash can throwing away the food. I head back grabbing bag and walked out. I felt someone behind me following me. Without looking back I started to pace my steps. I felt them getting even closer that by the time I was going to run they grabbed my hand and pulled me back facing them.
"Sung Min! What are you doing?" I asked trying to free my hand from his grip.
"It seems that's its been a while we haven't talked." He said getting closer. I scoffed at what he just said which made him stop.
"Your really funny. You actually thought we had something? I guess you thought wrong but I think you should really let go of me its really starting to hurt." I said as struggle to get out of his grub but he still didn't listen.
"Hey she said let go you should listen to the young lady!" I heard someone yell and Sung Min stopped to look at this someone.
"Or what? What will you do?" He asked. I saw Ji Sung coming right in front of Sung Min.
"Or I'll..." I suddenly see Ji Sung raise a fist that hit Sung Min in the face which had me pretty shock. After the punch my arm was free but then grabbed again by Ji Sung who was walking ahead as I was dragged along. I couldn't keep my eyes off him and think about what he just did.
"Umm... Thank you. I wouldn't have know what would happen if you weren't there to save me." I told him when we started to slow down safe away from harm.
"Oh uh y- yeah j- just glad to help." He said looking away awkwardly.
"Ya! Eunjin! gwaenchanh-a?!" I turned to see Jin running to me checking if I was hurt anywhere, until he saw my arm.
"Ye ye ye I'm okay. It's red now but it'll go away." I told him with a smile and he smiled right back.
"Araso, look at Eujin being tough now, you grown so much." He said pinching my cheeks.
"Ya! That hurts!" I yelled at him as he laugh "hey I think you should go back she's looking." I told him
"Mm araso don't forget about later." He said as I nodded and waved at him. Seem like we rarely get to hang out ever at school since he started to date that girl.
"Didn't know you were close with Jin" Ji Sung said.
"Oh yeah, but we're kinda distant friends now." I told him, looking at the group Jin left with
"Oh that's good cause I was going to ask... if... yo-" he got interrupted by the girls.
"Eunjin why you leave early?" So-yi whinned
"Just needed air." I told them as I see Ji Sun leave to sit at his desk.
"After you left some kid came running to us saying you were in some situation and I think Jin was behind and might of heard it and left after Ji Sung left." Yoon-her informed me with a low tone so no one else could listen. I walked to my seat thinking about what she told me.

Could that happen? I didn't see Jin there though. By the time me and Ji Sung got here he was out of breath. Pabo Jin. Should have just stayed with his group.

I put my head down closing my eyes to block out from think any more. I tried listening to other people conversation to at least distract me.
"Ya Eunjin don't tell me your crying." I heard some voice next to say. I brought my head up to see Jin.
"Nope no tears," I said with a smile "though what are you doing here aren't you going to sit in your seat?" I asked
"Well I saw you with you head down so I wanted to see how ya were doing" he told me.
"Well then sir as you can see I am perfectly fine. So you may go sit back in your seat."
"Araso" he said leaving and I smiled and waved at him goodbye.
The bell ranged and the teacher came back having is return back to class.
It felt like minutes passed by than hours for the classes to be over. I grabbed my bag and waved goodbye to the girls till I bumped into Ji Sung.
"Oh sorry I should of looked where I was going", he said guilty.
"It's fine by the way what were you going to tell me earlier?" I asked as he looked away shy
"Oh uh I'll tell you another time." He said and walked away faster.  I turned a different direction to go meet Jin and yelled, "Oppa!" capturing his attention. He turned to me and smiled. "Where shall we head?" I asked him till I finally reached up to him.
"Hmmm well that's going to be a surprise." He said with a smile as both heading toward his car. Being a gentlemen, he opened my door so that I could get in and then closed it. Then he got in and started the engine, heading toward "surprise".
