Chapter Two

I smiled, happy to know that my distant friend still knows me. I turned to him and in shock tone I said, "you brought me to my favorite restaurant?!"
"Well yes how could I not? Let's go in. I'm already starving." He said as we stepped out the car. We head inside and head to a table where our order was taken.
"So Eujin any tea you have to tell me?" He says as his two finger's air quotes the word tea. I looked at him weirdly commenting omg what he just did,"this  is not like you"
   "I know I just wanted to speak how your friends would but seriously anything new?" I chuckled and answered, "um well I don't think anything except that I see less of you" and he nods.
"About that... I like... Hye-won but Ive started thinking that I don't want someone who is going to keep us apart. Sometimes I just... want to end it but I'm not sure." He says looking down at his hands.
I did not want them to break up because of me so I asked him, "do you really like her as in love? Because if you do then maybe talk it out with her, communication is important in a relationship.
"No..." He said looking down.
"I think you have your answer..." I told him feeling bad at how sad he looked.

I shouldn't have said anything.

Suddenly I thought of what happen at lunch deciding if I should ask or not.
"Umm Jin? The girls told me after Ji Sung went out you did too. How come I didn't see you...?" I asked
"Oh uh... I guess I didn't get there in time to help you...", he said "By the way do you have something with Ji Sung? Seems like you guys are already close since it's his first day?" He said with a smile. I rolled my eyes at his comment. "Crazy." I told him looking away.
"Oh I see. Don't worry I saw how you guys look at each other. Clearly you don't have to tell me I can already see you blush." He said smiling and pointing at me.
   "Ya! Michyeosseo?!" I yelled at him noticing that people were staring which I started to cover my face. I notice the waiter standing there already with our food. As our food was being set out I was wondering if I should tell him the truth. "Araso the truth is... I don't know how I feel about him. I mean... he is good looking and tall. He has a deep voice and nice hair... all the things that a girl can go cray about. Just... something about him... makes me confused about him. When he looks at me and I mean like looks into my eyes its like I can't find the words to say and I get lost into his eyes..."
   Jin stayed quiet as he looked at me. I looked at him and there was a long silence.
   "Seems like you actually like him." He says finally.
   "Your crazy you know." I told him as I looked at my food and began to eat.
   "Ya! Eunjin if you like him you should tell him don't fool around with him and block your feelings because they may grow stronger." He tells me.
   "I'm not even sure if I even do. He could just be another pretty boy after all. Though, he is kinda different from the other boys." I said as I forked into my food and smile a little.
   "How about this once we finish eating we will go home and change and head to the mall. How does that sound?", he said.
   "Sounds fantastic!" I said smiling. We continue to eat and talked about something else.
   Once we finished eating we paid then left going home to dress. Later we met up in front of my house and head to the mall.
   "So where shall we head first?" He asked
   "Omg! Let's go get ice cream first then hit the stores." I said pointing straight in front of me in the air. I can hear Jin laughing at me .
   "Hey don't get too excited now." He said messing my hair up which I had to fix but after playing with my he pulls me in having his arm around my shoulders. "You don't have to fix you hair you look alright. It's not like Ji Sung is here to see." He was said with a smile.
   "Ya! Jugeullae!" I said punching him on the arm.
"Your hands are really strong." He says holding onto where I punch him.
   "Haha come one the ice cream is one me." I told him as we waited in line to take our order.
   After getting the ice cream we started to head to the stores.
    "Oh let's go here I heard their dresses and clothes are really pretty." I said  taking his arm and dragging him in. As we went in I spotted a dress right away.
   "Jin! Look at this! Isn't it pretty!" I said showing him. "Let me go try it on" I told him leaving to the dressing room. I come out the dressing room and showed Jin. I went in front of the mirror and asked "so what you think?" Jin was still staring with no words coming out. "Jin?" I called his name then turned to see him still staring. I snapped my fingers to make him come back from what ever he was thinking.
"Oh uh sorry. It looked really good..." He said smiling.
"Well I'll go back and change then." I told him going back inside the room. Once I got out I went to go look at the other outfits that they had.
We left the store with a bag that had clothes inside that were already bought half way filled.
"Oh Jin let's go in here!" I said pointing and dragging him on once again.
After going in a few of the stores I notice the arcade. I looked at Jin looking at the arcade which he looked at me with a smile and nodded like a kid. We went in and begin to play the multiple games they had. We came out having fun and smiling from the fun we had. I wish this could never end. Sometimes I wish we were young kids who were happy.
"I think it's time we head home." Jin says and I nod in agreement, at still thinking about when we were young. When we got inside the car I decided to ask him a question.
"Jin do you miss sometimes being this close like when we were young?" I asked facing him. He looked at me and smiled.
"Yeah I do. It's was better being close but it's not too late." He said still looking at he and then started the engine.
Once we were in front of my home we said our goodbye and he left once I got to my door. When entering the house I took off my shoes and put on the white slippers carrying the bags to my room. I put them to aside and went to my closet to grab some clothes and change. After that I went to the bathroom and brushed my teeth and hair. Then I walked to my bed and got in being comfy and warm.
   I woke up smelling food already cook. I got up from bed and hurried to dress. I head out to the kitchen to see breakfast made and still warm. Once I finished I grabbed my bag and put on my shoes and left to get in the car.
   "Good Morning Mr.Dong Woo" I said with a smile.
   "Good morning miss," He said with a smile and open the door. "Your in a good mood."
   "Something tells me today will be a great day," I told him "though I'll see you later when I return. Have a nice day."
   "As well as you miss." He said waving goodbye and I returned. I got to the school and entered in walking to my class. Once I got there I saw the girls sitting and talking.
    "Hey girls", I said.
    "Yo you have to tell us what happened yesterday" Yoon Hee questioned.
   "Nothing happened. Me and Jin just hanged out like we did in the past", I told them,
   "And what do you mean by 'like we did in the past'?" So Yi asked as she smirked
   "I mean like we went out and ate but then he took me to the mall and we just looked around. Plus he is just a friend." I told them knowing they wouldn't ask anymore questions but I was wrong. They looked at each other and started to smile as I looked at them confused.
   "Then... what about..." So Yi tried giving me a signal to who she was talking about. I looked over to see Ji Sung already in his seat and talking to some boy.

   Was he there the whole time? I didn't even notice, but wow he already made a friend

   "What do you feel about him?" Yoon Hee asks me and I sit down looking at my desk.
   "I don't even know myself." I told them. Class begins and everyone's seems to be paying attention except me. All I can think about is what do I feel toward Ji Sung. The more I kept thinking it became break time. I went up to Ji Sung and walked with him to lunch.
   "Seems like someone made friends" I said as he turned and smile.

   I'm not afraid to talk to him. He has to be just a pretty boy.

Once we got to the table and sat down we had a new member. He put his tray on the table and pulled up a chair siting next to me. I see him smile at me and I smile back.
   "I broke it off with her." Jin says as I stare at him trying to study his face.
