Finding my family

When I woke up I decided to get on the bike and search for my brother. After a hour I stopped and went to a store and found something to snack on. After awhile of driving I ran into someone.

"Who are you?" I asked as I walked up behind her.

She turned around and I saw it was Carol. I smiled as I hugged her.

"You have no idea how much I missed you." I said happily.

"I missed you too... is Daryl or any of the others with you?" She asked softly.

"No..... I was alone." I said as she hugged me.

We walked to where Tyreese was with Judith. After sometime we met up with everyone and I was picked up by my brother who hugged me tightly.

"I missed you so much." I whispered as he hugged me.

"I missed you more." He said as he held onto me.

After that we left to find a place to hide. While we where looking we ran into a preacher named Gabriel. He looked like he was a nice guy but truthfully he had a secret.

"I abandoned them all..." he whispered through tears.

"We all have done things to live.... it's not your fault." I said softly.

" I abandoned my friends... god please forgive me."

I left him to his thoughts and then watched as everyone went for a run to get food. I waited for them to get back and then we all set down and ate before we went to bed. When we woke up we found that Bob was missing. After awhile we found him and found out he had been bitten and we where forced to put him out of his misery. Rick killed the people who took him and then left to find another place.

"How are you doing?" Daryl asked softly.

"I'm fine.... actually no I'm not... why would you kill them! They where just like us trying to live!" I yelled.

"Sis we have to do what we must to survive."

"Yea then I guess I want to die." I said walking away from him.

I heard him sigh as I walked away and went over to Tyreese and walked with him. We separated from Glenn and Maggie as well as the people who came with them, but we soon got back to each other, just not in the way we wanted. It wasn't long before we got a hit on Beth but we soon lost her. Her death left us all broken and soon we made a friend called Noah. I stayed as far away for fear that I would loss someone else in my life, and I have never in my life wished to be more wrong. Tyreese was killed by a walker, and we soon all became depressed, after awhile though we met a man named Aaron who was looking for his friend. He is knocked out by Rick who I then yell at.

"What the hell Rick!" I yelled annoyed.

All Rick does is glare at me as he has everyone watch the area. When Aaron wakes up Rick asks about him question after question and soon we leave with him and help him find his boyfriend Eric. I send them a smile as they take us to there community. We make it to Alexandria and meet a man named Nicolas who has us hand over our weapons. At first we don't but soon we meet Deanna and she talks to us separate. I finally go in and she has me tell about myself.

"I was nineteen when it started... I use to live with my father and brothers, but I moved out after a fight and I moved in with my best friend.... her name was Jane. One day I left and that's when the Apocalypse happened. I have lost a lot of people and we need this.... after me and Daryl lost our older brother I stopped feeling safe... now I need safety and so do them.. my family." I say softly.

"I can tell you have been hurt a lot..... can we trust your group?" She asks.

"Yes.... because once we care for people we don't abandon them.... we don't leave our family." I said as she smiled at me.

She stopped the camera and then we all where given homes. We all stayed together the first night and talked about everything. Then I went to bed and dreamed of my past.

"Hey Val what you up to?" Negan asked as he smiled at me.

"Trying to get stuff done, but Jane isn't here to help me... she went to go see her parents." I said with a small laugh.

"How about I help you?" He asked laughing at me as I struggled to hold up a latter.

"Please?" I asked softly.

He laughed as he grabbed the latter and put it against the house and had me hold it while he fixed the roof. I smiled at him as he came down and handed me the hammer. He missed the last step and we both fell onto the ground with him on top of me. I opened my eyes to see him holding himself up with his hands.

"Could you get off me?" I whispered softly.

"Yea.... but I don't wanna." He said as he leaned down.

I heard a car pull up and pushed him off of me and stood up to see Lucille pulling up. She go out and laughed at us.

"Did you let that moron on a latter? He is so clumsy." She said with a smile.

"It's not my fault." Negan whined as he stood up.

I watched him leave and go inside as I went and put everything up and then went into the house and washed up for my dinner.
