Chapter 2 : Throwback

He was wearing his usual blue hoodie, brown khaki pants, but this time he wore dark blue and black snow boots that matched so that people will not be too suspicious, and he found himself flying to Utah for some fun. He missed snowboarding in the mountains, what with all the work that he did lately, and he actually thanked North for covering up for him while he was gone. They were not allowed vacations at this particular season, but Bunnymund thought otherwise...

"All right mate, enough with the pranks. I need a break. From you." E. Aster Bunnymund was dead serious at the time, ready to aim one of his boomerangs at Jack.

Jack had just finished giving Bunny a makeover, and it was hilarious as it can get. "Aww come on Bunny. This is pretty harmless. And besides, I think pink cheeks and that orange lipstick is becoming you. Hahaha!" Jack Frost said in between laughs.

Toothiana flew in, and when she saw Bunny, she too couldn't help but laugh, and even her feathers got ruffled at the sight of Bunny. "And what happened to you Bunny? Why the new look? Hahahaha!"

"I just came in here, waiting for North to debrief us. Then I felt something hit me from behind and when I woke up I looked like schisse." Bunnymund said, pretty much annoyed at what had happened.

Sandman tried to explain what happened by forming sand silhouettes of him and Jack having some fun by throwing snowballs and sand balls at each other and almost nearly hitting each other. Then Bunny appeared from one of his tunnels.

"Sandman hitting Bunny was an accident. So don't blame him. On the other hand, I had a brilliant idea when you got yourself knocked out." Jack said as he glided and landed on top of North's mini globe.

"Oh I'll knock you out all right!" Bunny said ,already marching on to where Jack was and threw one of his boomerangs at him.

"Enough!" North popped out of nowhere, and was prettypissed off with what was happening again with Bunny and Jack. "Jack, come with me."

"Jack, I know that we are not allowed to have any extended leaves with our line of work, but I believe that you need a vacation." North said.

"Why the sudden decision to send me away huh? If this is because of me offending the kangaroo over there..." Jack said in return, tinkering with the flying ice train set that North had made a few Christmases ago, a bit upset with the possible turn of events. But North cut him off. "I think that work has become monotonous for you so you try to shake things up by pulling pranks with Bunny. Besides, there are greater things waiting for you out there, and I think it's time for you to go looking for it."

"And how are you even sure about this. Plus what will mother even say when she finds out that I've gone somewhere and it's not related to any assignments for us?"

"Because I feel it. In my belly. And don't worry about the big boss. I got you covered Jack." North St. Nicholas exclaimed. Then he got up and opened the door for Jack, signaling for him to leave.

Why my sister actually thought to have some fun time now, I wouldn't know. But hey, I'm really glad that she has decided to loosen up a bit after mom and dad died, even if it took 3 years for her to come out of her shell and to stop being so overworked. I mean yes, it hurt me too, but then again, everyone has to move on, right?

I hear clicks of a doorknob being turned, and I immediately know who that was.

"Anna, where are you? I've got some hot chocolate brought in." Ah, that'll be my sister, Elsa. She's the only one who has a spare key of our room here at Canyons Ski Resort.
