"Wake up Drie!" Liza coaxed her, "Come on!" She giggled as her blanket fell off Audrey's bed, and her along with it, sighing in defeat Audrey smiled lightly; Lisa pulled her to her feet, "Seriously how did you get up without me before Hogwarts?"
"Something called... My cousins snoring" she grinned before tieing her hair up, "Are you going to breakfast?"
"Duh! I won't survive first period- race to there" she betted, "3...2...1... Now!!"

All the other first years were already at breakfast, Audrey and Liza skipped over to the Huffelpuff table, a congregation of different houses sat together with her friends. "Liza! Audrey! We've just got out timetables- here are yours-" Tahlia squeaked handing their timetables to them, "-Everyone here is in the same classes except Rochelle, and..."
'Oh joy' Audrey thought, "Us"
"Yay! That's fabulous! I get to have classes with my sis and my new best friend" Audrey found it extremely difficult to be unhappy around Liza, she was just too full of life. Unbeknownst to her, Rochelle did too.

First period: Potions

"Welcome class" came the monotone voice of Severus Snape, a lanky greasy haired potions teacher, "I will teach you the subtle art and exact science that is potion making. We will begin by annotating the uses and misuses of murdlap venom-" Audreys hand flew into the air, Snape turned slyly toward her; "Yes?"
"Sir, I'm sorry to ask but what is a murdlap?"
"Muggleborn?"
She nodded.
"Of course. I suppose you're this year's Hermione Granger."

Second period: Flying.

As the first years lined themselves on the dewey lawns of the school grounds, a slender cheery-looking woman welcomed them, "Good morning class... Good morning class"
"Good morning Madame Hooch" they sang in monotone, some of the Ravenclaw boys glanced over at Audrey and Liza smirking; it was a great annoyance. Especially when, "For our first lesson, we shall talk in groups about a strategy for a game we shall play next lesson. I want no more than 7 in a team; boys and girls." The boys strutted towards them, Audrey could sense an air of arrogance around them, "Hey there, love"
"Excuse me... Are you trying to flirt?"
he shrugged, "What can I say? I think you're cute" Audrey scoffed,
"Do you want me to slap you?"
"Maybe" he smirked. Audrey felt nauseous, to think a
this guy was flirting with her, "Liza, can I talk to you for a moment" she hissed, "What are we thinking?"
"Join the obnoxious team? Or..." they glanced around, "The leftovers." Without hesitation they knew exactly what to do.

As the game training began, Audrey and Liza introduced themselves to their team, "Nice to meet ya, 'names Rodney"
"I'm Emily" said the Ravenclaw blonde,
"Rachel"
"Caleb and this is my twin Connor " Liza smiled outwardly at them; delighted to meet more potential friends. Audrey was less excited but went along with it, "Alright, so I know that from Harry's obsession with Quidditch, we need a keeper in defence-"
"I'll try" Rachel announced, "I'll just imagine I'm blocking a flying squirrel"
"Okayyy, then we need two people who are great with bats. I'm volunteering"
"Pass us a bat" Caleb smirked, "I'll hit a Quaffel. That means we need a small person for seeker and the others can be chasers." We turned towards the elfish, sprite that is, "Liza..." She blushed,
"What?! Nah, I'm good- how about Rodney we're about-"
"Liza!"
"Okay" she muttered. Minutes of strategy and planning flew by till Madame Hooch blew her whistle, "Alright. End of the lesson. As soon as next lesson begins, you shall be playing one another- Team vs. Team. If you need to discuss more strategy, be my guest. Of you go!"

As the bell rang for break, their new-found friends joined Audrey and Liza on their way to the library, "And I think that if we trick swerve them, then we'll be sure to win" Rachel giggled as they entered the library, Audrey noticed Harry, Ron and Hermione in the corner but chose to let them be. "Could I borrow this book please?" Audrey asked the librarian,
as she handed to her, another hand stopped her; "Please-" came a drawling voice, "-Allow me" his grey eyes met hers and for a minute Audrey swore she felt her heart flutter, "I can do this myself"
"I'm mean girls can't do anything themselves. I'm being a gentleman- I'm-"
"-Being sexist, girls can do things on their own" she snapped, giving her book to the librarian, "Thank you." Exiting the library, Grey eyes caught up with her, "Hey!"
"What?"
"You have guts talking to me like that"
"What are you? The Queen?"
His eyes twinkled, "What's your name kid?"
"Audrey Dursley. You?"
"Nicholas Malfoy" he proclaimed, his hand extended. She shook it unsure whether to trust him, her gut instinct wasn't responding, a rare occurrence.

"Let me walk you to your next lesson?" He asked in a ridiculously posh accent, Audrey gulped.

"Sure"

Okay guys! Short and snappy- love ya!!!
