Chapter-9- What was that?

Today I woke up early in the morning, In a fresh mood. I threw on my track pants , tank top , and my black converse and went for a morning jog. I plugged in earphones in my ears and started listening to 'Look what you made me do , Taylor swift' while I was jogging. I went and sat on the bench at a nearby park.

I saw a small girl happily cheering as her father pushed her on the swings. It made my heart melt. A tear rolled down my cheek.

This is was the last place where I spent my time with my father . It was Christmas morning that time . After I had opened all my gifts , my father and I decided to come to the park as mom made Christmas cookies.

I sigh. Kids everywhere in the park playing happily with their parents. I wish I had a normal life.

Frustated by thoughts, I return home and pop a cigarette in my mouth. I let the taste of nicotine take over my mouth.

Suddenly a hand removes the cigarette from my mouth.

"Hey!" I yell.

"Smoking is injurious to health, sunshine."

"Uhh, stop irritating me Jake."

"So you woke up early this morning." He asks. From what I see he is wearing ,track pants and a tight shirt which is carving every curve of his chest.

"Are you done checking me out." He says with his stupid smirk on his face.

"Yup I said popping the 'p'. Now if you would excuse me I have to change for school." I reply while getting back inside the house.

I wear another black tight jeans, with a sleeveless top, leather jacket, and wear some jewellery. I throw on my black boots and black bag.

Yep I love black, I love being mysterious.

I ride my bike to school. I greet Jake in the parking itself.

He throws some off his pathetic cheesy lines which were cool but I didn't want him to be satisfied.

"Hi, I'm writing a term paper on the finer things in life, and I was wondering if I could interview you?"

"Pathetic" I reply irritated.

" but I know you love it,babe."

"Whatever makes you happy, honey."

Jake and I have our first class together that is English Lit.

Currently I'm staring at the whiteboard, thinking what I will do over the weekend when I'm snapped off my thoughts.

Miss Finder walks towards me and clears her throat.

"Care to explain this stanza, miss Stone."

"Uhh,I ..." I look at Jake who is seated In front of me at the other row. He sits there and smirks.

"This is the final time I'm warning you Crystal, first of all you be absent in my class, second you don't concenterate In class...?"

"I look behind miss Findler and see Jake making faces behind her back. I try to control my laughter, while she continues to lecture me. And then a girl sitting near Jake slams a book over his head. Which makes me burst out of laughter as the teacher looked at me angrily.

"I'm..so..rry..mi..ss" which leads to hysterical laughter from the whole class.

"Quiet!" She yells which makes the class freeze.

"Out! Out! Now miss Stone. Leave!" She yells out loud.

I hold my bag and move out of the class. Jake continues to make faces. Miss Findler sees this and sends him out with me as well.

"What was that for?"

" I wanted to keep company to you." He smirks.

"So let's skip school." He asks with his million dollar smile.

"No , don't wanna get in trouble." I say frowning.

"Consider it my first wish "

"Come on Jaky, don't be a poop, whose scared of a ride."

We decided to skip school to go to the fair today. So after a lot of rides we decides we go to the rollar coaster next. Well I decided.

"No Crys, I am not going to that ride , any ride but not that."

"Aww is the tiger scared." I say in a song chant.

"I am not scared of anything, but if I die , you will be responsible."

"Ok!" I chirp and drag him to the ride.

Well the ride was actually fun, when we got out of the ride, Jake was in shock, he was still standing frozen without shaking or blinking an eye.

I snap my fingers in front of his eyes.
"Jake, are you ok."

"Thaatt wass awesomeee" he shouts.

After Jake dropped me at home I went to the shower to take a long hot water bath. But when I pull the tub curtains to the side , I see a spider in the tub.I shout out loudly and wrap a towel around my body.

I quickly take my phone with trembling hands and dial the first number on my history list,Jake.

"Hello" I hear Jake from the phone in a sleepy voice.
He must have fallen asleep. Who cares, I am scared of a spider.

"Jake, come here quick!"

"What's wrong, red?" He asks In a panicked tone.

"Come here, quickk!"

"Ok ok coming"

After sometime , I hear someone coming up on the stairs. I let out a relieved breath , but then I see I'm just In a towel.

Shit.

Just then Jake barges in.
"What's wrong__"

He stares at me  head to toe with a smirk on his face while I

"Are you trying to seduce me stone?"

My cheeks immediately redden.

"N..oo , there is a umm ... Spi..der in the tub." I manage to speak and look down so that he doesn't see my pink face.

"You called me, just because you're scared of a spider." He smirks.

"Yeah, please remove it."

He goes in the bathroom and picks the spider with his fingers and comes near me.

"Jake , no stay away, don't Jake no."

He towers me with his huge figure with a spider still in his hands.

"Jake throw that away!"

I yell.

"Scared sunshine, is a badass scared." He says with a smirk.

He takes the spider towards the window and throws it out. He comes near me and corners me to a wall.

He holds my waist and closes any gap between us. Jake moves his mouth to my neck and exhales his minty breath.

I feel butterflies in my stomach and my legs jelly.

He starts kissing my collarbone and leaves a lovebite on my neck. I let out a soft moan before placing my hands on his chest.

He then whispers in my ear
"Your mine, Crys."
He pulls away and leaves the room.

A small smile creeps on my lips.
"Get a grip FAITH!" I say to myself before taking a shower.
