CHRISTIE's POV
.+*Flashback*+.
When I was younger, I lived the life of a princess. Always looked after by her strong King Dad and beautiful caring Queen Mum.
It was just me, my twin brother and my parents. We were one happy family. People would mistaken us for one of those fake happy families on TV but our love for each other was real. We were always there for each other.
Some of you would think of this as some cringy movie about some freaky little girl talking about her perfect family.
But the thing is that, my family WAS perfect.
Perfect until that day of the accident
The great and mighty castle was demolished and collapsed into nothing and the poor princess was left in the middle of nowhere. Nowhere to go. Nowhere to hide. She was stranded. And she was only 6.
.+*Present Day*+.
"RIIINNNGGGG!!!" Ugh another "awesome" day of school. I slapped my alarm clock and rubbed the sleep from my eyes. Why does my life have to be so awful. It probably wouldn't be if Mum and Dad were still alive. I jump out of bed and put on my slippers. I then go downstairs and make myself some tea.
Before I could take a sip Aunt Sue comes into the kitchen looking like she just saw my eye pop out of my face.
"Christie how many times have I told you that you have to brush your teeth before eating anything in the morning!"
Lord why on this earth did they choose Aunt Sue out of all my Aunts to take care of me?
"I don't know maybe a couple of a hundred times? Or two hundred?" I answer her with a smirk on my face.
She rolls her eyes at me and storms back upstairs.
I sat there staring at the place Aunt Sue was standing and thought about how my day would be. Maybe it would be the normal: a few insults some punches and slaps, tripping over, eating in the toilet and chatting to my wonderful nerdy friends.
Maybe if I avoid everyone today I could decrease my chance of being hurt.
I'm pulled back to reality when Brandon (my older twin bro) shouts for me to get ready for school. I wish I never had to go to school. I wish I was just homeschooled like some people.
Me+School= END of the world.
