Hello, my name is Hikariyoshi.
I come from the planet Zinkis, a small planet near the sun.
It's so boring, hardly any anime show there. I decided to run away.
I want to be a normal human girl, I want to go to a normal school and have normal friends.

I am 16 and live on my own in Tokyo.
It's so beautiful here, you should come see!

I guess you could say I'm not your typical Japanese exchange student...
This is how I met my best friends, Soochi and Yano. They are still at home doing their homework but not me...

It's Saturday afternoon and I'm in the movies, I'm just about to watch 'Battle Royal'. It's the year 2001 and it just came out!
People are probably looking at me funny, thinking I'm weird because the movie is just about to start and I'm here talking to myself, well talking to you about how I came to be in Japan.

[1999]
I was sitting in my room back on planet Zinkis reading  manga about a school girl, it was a romance...
I had gotten to page fourteen when an idea came to me,I jumped up and started putting things in my bag. I had packed my manga, clothes and shoes, my plushie and my diary, I ran out to my parent's spaceship, stealing the keys from my mom's purse 'en route'.

I knew the way, I had been there before. After a relatively easy journey, I arrived at Earth and I directed the ship down to the surface!
I crash-landed. My spaceship was ruined but I didn't mind as I didn't plan on going home any time soon.

I climbed out of the aircraft to find myself in a field, the grass was green like home! The air smelt fresh like roses but there was not a human in sight.
Could I have landed in the middle of a zombie apocalypse?

I ran in fear across the field as I saw 3 moving objects in the distance. Ah! Two people and a dog.
I called out to them, asking for directions into the city and the girl said she would walk me and then she asked if I had anywhere to stay.
So that's how we met... I spent the night at The girl's home, she said her name was Soochi.
That's a pretty cool name, I wonder what it means...

The next day I awoke as the alarm started ringing, it was 6AM. Soochi came in and gave me a uniform. She laughed and said "Hurry up! We're going to be late for school!"
The smile I once had, had gone as I remembered that I am really bad at kanji.
