The day my life started was the day I met him. I met the one guy. He was the person that would change my life forever. It was summer. I was hanging out with my friend, Lyzza. I was seventeen at the time. It all started at the mall, but before I get into that, let me tell you about myself.

Hi. My name is Caitlyn Garcia. I’m eighteen. I would be a freshman in college… if I went to college. I have dark brown eyes and dark brown hair. I wouldn’t call myself the prettiest girl, but I’m decent.

So, I was at the mall with my friend Lyzza, and my eyes drifted off away from Lyzza and onto something, well someone. “Caitlyn! Caitlyn!” Lyzza yelled.

When I finally came back down to earth, I replied. “Huh?”

“What were you staring at?” Lyzza asked. She turned her head to wear I had been staring not too long ago. “Oh my God. I know him. That’s Jeydon Wale. THE Jeydon Wale. He’s like, totally famous online!”

I looked at her confusedly. “Huh? I’ve never heard of him. What does he do?” I asked.

“Comedy. Oh, and don’t pretend you don’t know him. I’ve seen your closet. It’s filled with pictures of him.” I felt the redness creep onto my cheeks. “You should ask him out!” Lyzza continued.

Haha, Um… How about NO?” I said. We both looked toward him. “You want me to ask HIM out?” I asked. Suddenly a girl came up to him and planted a kiss on his cheek. “See! He has a girlfriend. She’s even prettier than me!” I complain.

“Ugh, fine. Let’s go to my house,” Lyzza said.

            “Okay,” I agreed.

When we finally got to her house, we sat on her bed. I sighed. “So, do you remember when we were sixteen and-”

She cut me off. “Don’t even talk about that. Do not talk about anything during that time. It’s done. That’s the past. We’re better now. We’ve matured. We’re over it.”

            I just nod my head.

            “Okay?”

            “Okay.”

“I know what we could do,” Lyzza said cheerfully.

            “What?”

“How about we go back to the old days and play a little ding-dong-ditch,” Lyzza suggested, winking.

            I laughed. “Sure.”

We started about three blocks away. On the eleventh house, as we were running away from the door, the door opened. “Can I help you?” I hear the man say.

            I gasped. “J-Jeydon Wale?”

He squinted at me. “I’m sorry. Do I know you?” He asked.

“Yes. Well, no. I mean we talked on twitter. Um, I made a lot of posters for you and I DM’d you once you followed me. Um, I’m really shy and I talk a lot.”

“Oh. I remember you. Hi. Um, do you guys maybe want to come inside?” Jeydon asked.

“Sure,” I said, pulling Lyzza behind me.
