Maggie was never the jealous type. That is it nothing more nothing less. All her past girlfriends hated the fact she was never jealous. Maggie liked it that way it saved conflict; it saved her feelings getting hurt.
That was until she met Alex Danvers. Even as friends she was jealous of everyone and everything around her but now they are dating it's got worse. She hated how close she was to supergirl, she hated that they needed each other to function, and she especially hated how worried Alex got when supergirl went into the field.

Maggie's POV
"Why can't she worry about me like that?" I sigh and sits on the bar stool across the bar from M'gann. M'gann pours me another scotch. "Mags she does worry about you" M'gann tries to stick up for Alex. "But not in that way, it's special, what they have, Alex and I don't have" I starts to tear up a bit. "Why don't you speak to her about it?" M'gann asks trying to help as much as she can.
Just as I was about to reply I had two long arms wrapped around my waist "hey pretty lady" the voice automatically melts me. Dammit Danvers. I turn around in Alex's arms and I kiss her and after I pull away I am greeted with another person. "Hey Maggie" I look at the tall blonde in front of me. "Supergirl" I nod. Everywhere! She's everywhere. Why can't i just be with her by myself? Alex grabs my hand and pulls me to the pool table "game?" she smiles at me, how can anyone say no to that smile? "Of course"
"Ooooooh I want to play al can I play with you?" Supergirl jumps up and down, Alex looks at me "sure here have my turn" I hand her my cue and walk off "Mags" Alex runs after me and catches up with me outside the bar. "Babe what's wrong?" Alex looks at me with worry in her eyes. Worry, it's that look I want from her, I don't supergirl to have that look Alex is mine, and that look should also be mine. I don't want to share that look with her.
"Don't do that" I look away
"Don't do what? Mags I'm confused" Alex softly grabs my chin and looks in my eyes. When she looks at me like that it makes me weak, she can't keep doing this to me. I can feel myself start to tear up and I can tell Alex has noticed as well "you can't look at me like that when... I- I -know you love her" I choke up "love who Maggie? What are you on about?" I can tell Alex is genuinely confused, maybe she does know she loves her? Come on sawyer just tell her get it over and done with.
"Supergirl. You're in love with supergirl and I get it, I do she's amazing, she's practically flawless, I mean she can touch the stars and me? I can't do any of that so I-"Alex interrupts me
"Maggie" but I carry on I need to get this out I need to hurry up before I cry
"but I just need you to know that you mean so much to me, you're one of the few people that mean so much to me so I just I need you to know that I-" I get interrupted by soft lips touching mine. If I didn't know it was kissing me I would have pushed them away but I knew who it was. I kissed back and before it could go any further Alex pulled away "Maggie supergirl is Kara" I looked at her with wide eyes, everything started to fall into place now, and I mean glasses really?
"Oh" Alex smiles at me and grabs my hand
"so yes I do love her but Maggie I'm not in love with her" I looked up at her and smile "because Maggie sawyer I'm- I'm –umm" I laugh and wait patiently for her to speak "I'm in love with... you" Alex closes her eyes. I stand on my tip-toes and I whisper in her ear "I'm in love with you too Alex Danvers" she looks at me and kisses my forehead
"Come on lets go home" she wraps her arm around my waist and we walk to home. Our home.
