I suddenly wake up from the sound of my phone ringing. I see Jamie's name and check the time, 4:32 am. What could possibly be happening at his home at this hour? I sit up straight and open the bedside lamp, then I press answer.

"Hey, Jamie." I try to sound awake.

"Hey, Dakota." I crinkle my forehead. This is not Jamie.

"May I know who I'm speaking with?" I stand up and pace around my room, trying to wake myself up.

"It's me, Eddie. I'm with Jamie." What can they possibly be doing at this hour?

"He's drunk." I slam my palm on my forehead. Of course.

"Is that Dakota? Dude, why the fuck are you calling her?" I hear Jamie in the background. I chuckle. He's definitely drunk.

"Well, what's your plan?" I ask Eddie, I sit on the edge of my bed.

"Is it okay if he could crash at your place?" What? Why me?

"Eddie, we broke up." I whisper.

"I know but I have work in a few hours and no one's at his house." He explains.

"Where's Dulcie?" I crinkle my forehead. He gets drunk at this time without having a babysitter at his house? Great.

"Dulcie's with Amelia back in London." He answers.

"Okay, I'll pick him up. Where are you guys?" I roll my eyes and head to my closet.

"We're at the Beverly Hills Hotel." I purse my lips.

"Are you kidding me? Paparazzis are all over that place!" I start to panic and pace around again.

"It's okay, I got you covered. I have a room here, you could park inside." I sigh in relief.

"Okay, I'll be there in about 20 minutes. Let me get dressed first. Don't end the call." I tell him. I press speaker and put my phone on the table. I grab my black jeans and white v-neck top.

"Dakota's going to pick you up." I hear Eddie talking to Jamie.

"I don't need her to pick me up. I can go home." He's slurring his words.

"We broke up, she doesn't care about me anymore, man." My heart stops.

"I care about you, Jamie. No matter what." I shout at them, waiting for his response while I grab my black Gucci embroidered leather bomber jacket.

"Then why did you break up with me?" My heart stops beating. Here we go again.

I sigh, "Eddie, I'm on my way. I'll call you if I'm near." I ignore Jamie.

"Okay, sorry about that. You know how he is when he's drunk." He apologizes.

"Yep, I do." I raise my eyebrows. "Bye." I press end.

Let's get this drunk ass Jamie home.

After 20 minutes, I arrive safely at the parking lot. Paparazzis were surrounding the hotel outside. Thank God I didn't have to go through that. I start to call Jamie and wait for Eddie to answer.

"Hey." Jamie's now on the line. He sounds better.

"Hey, where are you?" I ask while pacing towards the elevator.
