🍁 Autumn 🍁

Come out, come out, it's near,
Come on, don't hide in fear.
Autumn is near.
You'll see it's beauty, oh so clear!
What a wonderful sight, my dear!

We used to play outside, dont you remember?
The way we danced on the leaves with joyous laughter,
Like we never wanted it to end, never ever.
Even if we had a very high fever,
We never let it stop us, we never care!

All we wanted to do was to play, right?
Have fun and look at the pretty sight.
Smile even if our situation in life seemed too tight,
Autumn told us not to give up and give a fight,
And face challenges with courage and might.

Leaves fall, we gather them, and I'll be with you,
We do those things together, just me and you.
I wish I could've told you sooner, I love you
And when we're grown ups, I wanna be with you
And be the girl to whom I'll say "I Do"

But after autumn, you left and never came back,
You left me and my heart with a crack.
We never had a communication, we lost track,
And Years passed and I still can't get over the fact,
That the girl who left me won't be filling the crack.

I was left with a crack, until Autumn came back,
Yes, yearly autumn comes back,
Giving me hope that you too will be back.
And I was right, you came back,
And here you are, your love is filling the crack,
The crack in my heart which was always there, intact.

Look at us, we're so grown up and living together,
But my love for you still doesn't change till forever.
Like autumn leaves: they fall, we pick them up, group them together,
But this time, autumn picked us to be together,
Like we did to the leaves when we we're younger.

Autumn means death, they say to me,
But I say otherwise, I disagree,
I found love in autumn, and she's the only person I always wanted to see,
Autumn brings new beginning can't you see?
The way the leaves fall, it doesn't end there, agree?

The fall represents the end and the start of a new beginning,
Just look at the clouds' silver lining,
And you'll learn new things, discover a new finding,
Maybe there, you'll find something,
To keep you motivated, to keep you moving.
