So, in episode 1, remember how Mami saved Madoka and Sayaka from Gertrud's barrier? You all remember Gertrud's minions, Anthonies, right? The little cotton-ball things with butterfly wings on their tails? Anywho, remember how they started crowding around Madoka and Sayaka, chanting some weird song. And then Mami proceeded to do some bad-ass moves and all the Anthony's heads came off.
Well what they were singing was in German, and, its just a theory, but the song might have been directed at Mami, not Madoka and Sayaka.

And then we all saw how Mami died. That's some fantastic foreshadowing!
