Wow I cant believe how pretty she is. We were friends for awhile but she wasnt all that pretty and popular til this year. I really like her and I want her to be mine but she seems a little distant. I hope she feels the same way so Im not setting myself up for failure. I mean she is the most popular, and prettiest girl in school and I dont know if she is going to like me or not with all the guys hitting on her.

Roc-*Running, catching up to his friend Ray* O whats up

Ray- *Smirking* Mhmmm soo I saw you talking to a girl by the lockers, who is she.

Roc- Destiny Goodman

Ray- Forreal bruh

Roc- I promise on my momma and my daddy grave

My parents died in a airplane crash a few years ago, they left me all their money in their will, so I got money. My auntie said when I turn eighteen I can leave out her house so I did and bought me my own apartment.

Ray- Man that aint fair you get the sexiest girl in school and what do I get nothing.

Roc- *Smiling*Man stop whining and come on so I can hurry up and get outta this class.

Destiny pov:

I finally made it to History class where there is a group of guys running to get seats next to me everyday. All the boys like me because: im smart,funny,goofy,thick,singer,dancer,and I can party. They dont really know whats going on in my life because I always have a smile on my face. All the girls are mad because me and Cheyanne is taking most of the guys, but alot of the guys come to me because I have the body, looks, mainly everything. Cheyanne has the looks and she's curvy in the hips but no boobs. She has swagg but not as much.Im like a man stealer, but im not that type to wreck a relationship. The bell rang and two boys are going at it about a seat right next to me.

Boy 1: Aye niqqa that my seat

Boy 2: Bitch do I see your name on it...... okayy then thats what I thought

Mr. Myers: Boys be quiet and sit down before I have to call the deputy to esscort you both out of my class

I got up and grabbed boy 1's hand and pulled him to the back of the room so he wouldnt get in trouble. We both sat down in a desk and started talking. All the boys got in their feelings and was upset at boy 1 that he made me move, and all the girls rolled their eyes.

Destiny- *Smiling* Hi im Destiny

Boy 1- Hi im BJ

Destiny- I just had to get you out of that argument because I didnt want to see a fight.

I dont like to see fights since Im the one thats always in them with my boyfriend, and im the one that always looses.

Bj- *Friendly*Well thanks for caring

Destiny- Your Welcome im just doing the right thing.

I was amazed because that was the first guy I met that has'nt hit on me. I was happy about that because I dont want to shut them down but I have to because I dont know what would happen if Evan found out. The teacher started going on with the lecture about what kind of poison did the Germans use to kill the Jews in the gas chambers for our Holocaust project. He was going over a power point and showing video clips. I was getting so bored that I started daydreaming about what it would be like to date Roc. Then a picture of Evan formed in my mind. Our relationship wasnt bad at first. Last year when I was in the 11th grade and he was in 12 we started dating. We were high school sweethearts,everyone wanted to be like us with their relationship. We were so cute together writing love notes, kissing ,and hugging until one day. We had just had our 1 year anniversary and he had just graduated 2 nights before. We were just starting the summer and he had just gotten a job as a music producer. He called and I didnt know because I was talking to my old best guy friend Eric who moved away. Evan came home all heated so I took the hint and told Eric I would call him back later.

(Flashback)

Destiny- Hey babe whats wrong

Evan- Why didnt you answer my call

Destiny- Oh im sorry I didnt see it because I was talking to my bestfriend Eric.

Evan- Eric you mean that niqqa that used to like you

Destiny- Babe chill he gotten over it and were bestfriends.

Evan- *Frustrated*

Bestfriend my ass

Destiny- O my gosh im leaving I aint got time to argue with you today.

I tried to walk out the door as Evan grabbed my arm

Evan- Where you think you going

Destiny- Im leaving

Evan- No your not

Destiny- Yes I am and let go of my arm your hurting me.

Evan let go and I had hand print marks on my arm.

Evan- *Rudely* Ya just leave and go back to Eric

I walked over and got in his face

Destiny- I dont like him so you need to stop

With every word I spoke I put my finger in his face and when I got done speaking I bumped past him.

Evan- *Angry* Dont tempt me

Destiny- What you gone do

I said nudging his head back. As soon as I did that his hand connected with my face. I fell to the ground as I started crying. Evan just gasped.

Evan- *Sincerly* Baby im so sorry

Destiny- *Crying hard* You promised you was never gone hit me Evan

Evan- Thats the one and only time I dont even know why I did it, I dont know what came over me.

Destiny- Im leaving

I was curled up into a ball crying holding my face.

Evan- Baby I promise on my life it wont happen again

Evan picked me up and layed me on the bed,and under the covers. I didnt say a word as he got in the bed with me and cuddled up next to me. He was kissing me on the forehead saying how sorry he was and I finally forgave him. We fell asleep in eachother's arms that night.

From that day on he vowed to never hit me again, but as you can see he never kept his promise.
