Meant To Be

Disappointment

"Haru is unconscious but we don't think he'll make it." The doctor said.
Saki froze at the doctor's words.
"I think it's time to go, don't worry Saki, Haru will be fine." Mio suggested.
Saki just nodded her head but she was crying on the inside.
When she got home she quickly headed upstairs and cried until she fell asleep.
Next morning
Saki's red puffy eyes stood out to everyone.
Sakura went over to Saki's locker.
"Look at this stupid mess, need a hand?"
"No thank you." Saki quickly replied and headed to her next class.
"I'll make sure to torture you until I'm satisfied." Sakura whispered to herself.

Lunchtime
"Saki, you have to go to the principle's office." Mio said running to her.
"Eh? Why?" Saki asked.
"I don't know."
"Ok." Saki said running to the office.
"Saki, why were you bullying Sakura? You know these decisions are not acceptable." The principle said.
"What? I never bullied anyone. I'm not lying." Saki defended herself.
"No more talk, we have enough evidence, you are suspended for a day."
Saki's eyes got teary and soon enough, tears were dripping down while she headed to where Mio was.
"Saki, what's wrong?" Mio questioned in a worried tone.
"I'm suspended for a day because they think I was bullying Sakura."
"No way, why wouldn't they believe you?"
"I don't know."
"Let's head home, we can pretend you're sick."
"Ok."
Saki and Mio were heading home. It was a quiet walk.
"Thank you for everything Mio." Saki said.
"No problem. I'll come over tomorrow to help find out what's going on."
"Eh what about school." Saki asked.
"I'll just say that I'm sick."
"Oh ok."
"Take care of yourself ok?" Mio assured.
Saki nodded and smiled until Mio left.
While heading to her room, Saki sat down bursting into tears.
"First Haru is injured, and now I'm suspended for doing something that I didn't do. Life can't get any better."
Again Saki slept in tears.
