Unflawed

I've never seen something

As perfect as the moon.

The way it lights up, every night.

The way it curves around itself

Forming a perfect circle

With glowing beauty.

That was until someone sat next to me

And explained the irregularities of it.

In that moment, I realized that

The object that to my eyes was perfect,

To other was insignificant.

And that is, I think,

How we see each other.

To some foul, but to me unflawed.
