After Eric learned that Pinto had connections on two continents, he needed a day to take all of this in. He went back to his apartment in Compton, California. He decided to think if he actually wanted to do all this just to save some of his friends, and some unruly crime lords from being murdered for crossing Pinto.
"man, this situation is fucked up." Eric thought to himself.
"i could be a hero if i do this, saving cops everywhere"
He was completely surprised at what he had just said.
"since when do i care about fucking cops?" he thought.
"All they ever do is get up in my grill and screw me over for just packin a gat or doin some grass."
Eric took an hour or so to rethink his values.
"All my life i've been a thug, hustlin little kids, and listening to gangsta rap and following this values plced in the song. Jamal and Quareem have been my buddies for a long time, and i have a new one now, named John.
"still, this gangsta lifestyle has suited me well. I send diamond necklaces to my momma and i love paying rent when the rents due."(authors note, this is from the song dear momma, by Tupac.)
Just then, there was knocking on the door. He looked through the viewer in the door, and saw it was Jamal, Q, and John.
Eric let them in.
he told them everything he had been thinking about.
Just as they were going to talk it over, Uzi bullets broke the doorknob and people rushed in. It was Pinto and his men.
