ELLIE

It was no surprise really that Skye's walk-in closet looked like the hurricane had made a personal stop there.

Her clothes were strewn everywhere. I squinted, trying to see the shaggy white carpet that I knew was somewhere underneath. It was Thursday night and this was just the beginning of the four-day weekend.

I made a mental note to suggest that we get ready at literally anyone else's house besides Skye's for tomorrow's party. We had already been sitting here for 15 minutes, watching Skye scramble through her clothes.

"It's gotta be here," Skye mumbled, clawing furiously through the mountain of clothes near the door.

"We'll never make it to the party at this rate," Peyton mumbled to Jordana, who was perched on Skye's desk, which probably never actually got used for homework or studying.

"Ah, got it!" Skye yelped, as she pulled a short red dress out of the pile a moment later.

"Is that a t-shirt or a dress?" Kallie snorted, while she chose a new song to blast over Skye's speakers.

"I think it's cute," Sedona shrugged.

Sedona wasn't wrong; it was a cute dress. That wasn't the problem. The problem was that the dress was so short, that even on Skye's lanky body, it barely covered her butt.

And Skye wasn't the one wearing the dress tonight.. I was.

But, I was so tired of waiting around that I actually shuffled into the connecting bathroom without a single protest. Skye looked pleasantly surprised at that one.

A few moments later, I emerged from the bathroom in the dress that fit like a glove. Maybe a little like OJ Simpson's glove though, because my boobs were spilling out of the dress, since they were larger than Skye's.

Everyone paused, looking me over. I fidgeted a little, especially under Skye's watchful gaze. No doubt, she wore the dress better than I ever would.

After a few more agonizing moments, I finally spoke up. "Sedona, are you sure you don't want to wear this one?" I asked her.

"No way, you look great in it! Besides, I try to avoid wearing red. It clashes with my hair too much, and no one could make red on red look good.. Except maybe Jessica Rabbit," Sedona said thoughtfully.

"I think we just found your Halloween costume though, Sed," Skye gasped. Peyton nodded enthusiastically.

"Oh god, I just imagined you as Jessica Rabbit and I swear, if I were a guy, I'd be so har-" Skye rambled as Sedona laughed, wiggling her eyebrows mischievously.

"Never mind, we'll talk about Halloween when it gets closer. Spin," Skye commanded me, and I obeyed.

"You look like a snack," Jordana gushed. The rest of my friends praised me as well, and even Skye nodded approvingly.

With that, there was no room for arguments because Skye pulled out a pair of black heels for me to wear, along with a necklace that fell just in between my cleavage.

"Ok, let's take some pictures then head out," Jordana exclaimed, hopping off of Skye's desk.

We posed for some pictures together that would undoubtedly be seen by Skye's hundreds of thousands of followers. After we scrolled through the photos, deciding that we were content with them, we finally piled into Skye's car, which was more spacious than Sedona's.

As we hit the road, Kallie turned up the music on the radio.

"Hey, where's this party at anyway?" I yelled up to Skye, who glanced at me through the mirror while she drove.
