Draco offered advice on the layout of the manor and how it could be used to their advantage.

Hermione thought it went fairly well - Ron had (although grudgingly) accepted that maybe Draco's advice was legitimate and not just a ploy to get the trio in a bad spot. Harry himself was not too worried about an actual plan; he had always been one to rush in head on. He didn't like to think too much, unlike Hermione.

It was a good thing he at least listened to Draco, who offered good hiding spots around the manor.

Whether or not Harry would use them was another matter entirely.

They didn't talk too long about their attack plans - Harry and Ron wanted to know what Hermione had been up to while she had been separated from them the past week, and why it took her so long to get to the ministry.

"We really thought-" Ron had cut himself short.

We really thought you had died.

She briefly explained that she had gotten lost and taken a detour, running into Draco before he redirected her. She left out her panic attacks and her aimless wandering, although she had to explain her injury and the trip in the mall with Draco. She could barely remember those bulky, disgusting men even though it probably hadn't been too long ago.

If her boys thought it was strange that she had merely gotten lost, they didn't say anything.

They only thanked Draco for helping her out - Harry did, anyway.

And then it was Hermione's turn to ask them what they had done in the past week - surely not just sitting around and waiting for her to arrive?

"Of course not!" Ron huffed, offended.

But Harry admitted, "Well, we were going to do that, but then we thought we should be productive while we waited."

"Productive?" Hermione asked.

"Remember when we were here at the ministry last?" Harry said, "There were undead people all over the place!"

"What about them?" the witch wondered again where the zombies went.

"We wiped them out," Ron grinned triumphantly.

Draco commented, "Wow. You guys did something useful for once."

His comment was meant to be a joke, but Ron took it personally and opened his mouth to argue. Before he could really get started, though, Harry chuckled.

"Yeah," he agreed, "Only because we were bored after a day of waiting around."

Hermione asked, "So... what, you just spent the whole week slowly clearing out all the floors of the ministry?"

"Yep. Didn't even have to go outside. We found a bunch of food in the cafeteria."

"Cafeteria?" Hermione's stomach let out a low rumble, "Let's go! It's about lunch time anyway."
