Stop Being Jealous

Kageyama grumbled something under his breath for the hundredth time. You simply tried to ignore him but it was starting to get on your last nerve.

The volleyball club was going to go to a practice match against Aoba Jhonsai and sensei had asked if you could come and help out since Yachi was out sick. Of course, Kageyama didn't like it one bit. He wanted to keep you away from Oikawa.

Even though you know how much Kageyama dislikes Oikawa, his jealousy was something you didn't like.

You turned to Kageyama who was still pouting. That scary frown etched on his brow said everything about his current mode.

"Jeez, Kageyama," you say frustrated. "I'm going and that's that so get that scary look off your face."

"I said you're not going," he responded.

Your eye began to twitch in annoyance. "Look," you say stopping in your tracks. You turn to him and look at him sternly. "I'm going to go whether you like it or not. You may be my boyfriend but you have no right to boss me around," you say pressing his forehead with your fingers with every syllable. Kageyamas face went from scary to scarier. At that moment you knew you had to run. "Shit," you say as you dodge from his reach.

"(Y/N) dumbass," he yelled. "Get back here."

You ran as fast as you could but Kageyama was faster. He finally caught up to you. His arms wrapped around your waist and held you firmly from behind.

"Hey," you struggled. "Let go."

"(Y/N)," he said sternly but gently. You froze acknowledging he had your attention. His head snuggled in the crook of your neck. He held you tightly for a second before speaking. Your heartbeat quickened.

"I know I can't stop you from going," he said gently. "I just know that he'll be after you just to make me angry. I'm also just afraid of what you may think of him."

"Kageyama," you groan. You turn around and looked at his nervous face. He kept his gaze down. You placed both hands on his cheeks and brought his eye up to yours. "You do realize I'm dating you and not Oikawa, right? I don't care how amazing or cool or whatever he is. I'm smitten by you and you only." You then leaned in and placed a light kiss on his lips.

This caught Kageyama off guard. You had never been the one to start kissing. After you let go he saw a light blush taint your cheeks.

"Come on let's go, or you'll be late to practice," you say walking ahead of him.

"Right," he responds smiling. He catches up to you feeling more confident.
