New girl// Chapter One

Annabeth's P.O.V.

As I watch my parents fade away and a cold, lifeless, darkness takes over as I realize what is happening. This is the last time I am going to see them and I feel helpless. I sit there drowning in the guilt that maybe...just maybe i could have tried to sa- BEEP BEEP BEEP BEE-
I slam my hand down on my obnoxious alarm clock and start to get ready for the first day of school. It is going to go GREAT. Please take note of the sarcasm, because I know exactly how it will go....This is not my first time being the new girl. Actually it's the third school this school year but hey, who's counting.

I decide to wear some comfortable black ripped jeans with a grey sweater (^^outfit on top ^^). I was sent to this horrid foster home along with my sister Lily. I can already tell how this will go, my new foster 'mom' is just like the last one. Only doing it for the money (that is meant for us), and instead uses it on superficial things and leaves us to fend for ourselves.

I eat breakfast and take a quick look in the mirrior before I leave. I don't put on a lot of makeup, there is no point in trying to impress people that you don't know or care about. I just want to be able to take my sister Lily to a place where I know she will be safe, but I can't do that unless I finish this god awful high school.

I slip into Lily's room to find her sleeping peacefully in her bed. "Lily, it's time to get up princess" I whisper while slightly shaking her shoulder to wake her up. "ANNA! Why do I need to be awake this early" she grumbles while rubbing her eyes to wipe away the tiredness. " Well I know you hate it when I leave, but I need to go to school. And I also know you get nervous when you dont know where I am so..." I know by the look in her eye how much she wanted me to stay but I really do need to go. "Why do you always have to leave me in the mornings, I want you to stay" Lily whines as she begs me to stay. " Baby I know you will miss me, but if i dont go I will never be able to get us out of here one day"
"it's okay...i love you sissy see you later" Lily pouts as she gives me a hug, a kiss on the cheek, and says goodbye. Well now it is time to go to the awful place people call highschool. I jump in my car and head towards the school.

Jack's P.O.V (bet you weren't expecting that)

As I head out and jump in my car with the rest of the boys, I get a weird feeling. Like something is a little off. "Hey bro, you good?" Jonah asked while raising an eyebrow in confusion "You kinda dozed off for a bit"
" No i'm good, just tired that's all" I smile and stare back on the road driving toward the school. I dont usually go against my gut feeling, but I just put my nervousness and confusion aside and try to not think about it.

Anna's P.O.V. (anna=annabeth)

I park my car and I head towards the school. As i walk through the hallways I can feel people eyes practically burning through me. Then I hear someone scream my name. I could recognize that voice from a mile away, I can't believe she is here.
