Ellie's P.O.V
Today was the day the Volturi was coming. I stood in between my parents with the Mikaelson's and Mystic Falls gang behind us. Edward, Bella and Renesmee was standing in front of everyone in the snow covered field.

"If we live though this I'll follow you anywhere, woman." I heard Garrett say to Kate.

"Now you tell me." She said. Suddenly I saw people coming from the other side of the field, all in black cloaks.

"The red coats are coming, the red coats are coming." Garrett said to himself. As he said that I took my mums hand tightly and I look back at Nik who gave me a small smile before turning to look forward. I look over all of the Volturi as they came towards us. A man that was at the front of them all with black hair and red eyes kept looking over our witnesses as if he was looking for someone, as he looks at Nik, Kol, Elijah and Rebekah he seems to freeze a bit but kept walking with a look of slight fear on his face.

"Aro is looking for Alice." Edward muttered. I heard howling and glanced back to see the wolves coming out from the forest. I looked over to Nessie and saw Jacob in his wolf form stop next to Bella. The Volturi then came to a sudden stop and took the hoods of their cloaks down, it was silent until grandpa Carlisle spoke up.

"Aro, let us discuss things as we use to, in a civilised manner." grandpa Carlisle spoke softly.

"Fair words Carlisle, but a little out of place given the battalion you assembled against us." Aro said, his eyes going over the witnesses again.

"I can promise you, that was never my intent. No laws have been broken." Grandpa Carlisle said.

"We see the children, do not treat us as fools!" A man with blonde hair hissed.

"They are not immortal! These witnesses can attest to that. You can look, see the flesh of human blood in their cheeks." Grandpa Carlisle exclaimed as he gestures to Nessie and I.

"Artifice!" The blonde haired man, Caius yelled.

"I will collect every facet of the truth, but from someone more central from the story. Edward, as one of the children clings to your newborn mate, I assume you are involved." Aro said. Edward looks at Bella then at Nessie with a smile before he begins to walk towards them, when he reaches them Aro grabs his hand and goes through his memories, Aro then lets go of Edwards hand with a gasp.

"I would like to meet them." He said as he glances at Nessie and I then back to Edward.

Edward turns to look and look at Bella with pain in his eyes, I look up at mum as she looks down at me and takes my hand leading me towards the Volturi with dad trailing behind us, Bella doing the same with Nessie. Mum then stops and looks over at Nik, who was already coming towards us. Jacob walked over to Nessie and Bella. As we were walking towards them Aro kept nervously looking to Nik. As we stood in front of the Volturi, Aro started to laugh like a crazy man.

"I hear their strange heart beats." Aro said looking at Nessie and I. Aro holds his hand out as we take a few steps towards him. I look over at Ness and can tell she's scared so I greet him instead.

"Hello Aro." We both said and I glance at his hand then place my small hand on his pale face and show him everything to prove we are not immortal children.

"Magnifico." He whispers as I pull my hand away, he suddenly stands us straight. "Half mortal, half immortal. Conceived and carried by this newborn while she was still human." He said as Nik pulled me back, Bella also pulled Nessie back to her and we walked back to our side, Jacob growled at Aro before coming to us.
