When I heard the news that I got into my dream school I was overjoyed.
"I don't care that you looked at it already, care about the fact that you didn't wake me up." I pitched.
" I got into my university."
I screamed. Everything was brilliantly brighter, like it had a fluorescent tinge to it. I was very excited.
I hugged my brother tight, he stumbled his left foot back in surprise, very surprised.
I got my backpack, skateboard, checked the time and rode to school.
The sky was a bright violet blue, the grass was just as beaming as a green highlighter, The houses all straight and neat like a freshly knotted tie and people walking, riding, driving to school.
I rode as fast as I could to get to school early, in fact no one was in the hallway.
I decided to walk to the library and work on my technology homework.
As I passed my fingernail on the spine of each book as I walked passed, the librarian Miss Talt taped me on my shoulder.
"Do you have a free period Pandora?" She whispered
I looked a her with a quizzical expression.
"It's second period" she said.
I didn't understand because when checked my watch it said 8 o'clock school didn't start until 8.15 and I got here at 8.10 how did sixty minutes pass when I was walking to the library? I questioned myself.
That's impossible, you can't time leap.
I thought at a loss.
Perhaps I read my watch wrong or my watch is broken? I quizzed myself. I glanced at my watch again, 9.05. How is this possible?
I ran out of the library thinking this was a dream because now reality didn't feel real I felt more real in my dream last night then I do now.
I went about my day normally all my classes went much faster then normally.
A fifty five minute class felt like a twenty minutes.
At lunch I sat next to Darcy she gave me a welcoming smile. "How's your day been" she asked.
"Strange" I replied as Darcy took a sip of her coffee as well as poking at her pasta.
"How so" she asked. I thought for a minute to find the answer as I really didn't know it myself. " I feel like time is going faster than normally"
I answered. She nodded in agreement. "Something is wrong" I said.
