Kylie and I decided to head for the after-party when the award show ends. It was held at a exclusive club just a few blocks away, so transportation wasn't really a problem for us.
Although, the club was packed when we arrived. Mass of people were already dancing under the bright colored lights that moved around the wide space, the rave music blasting in my ear.
I was in the middle of a great conversation with Cara Delevigne, when Kylie interrupts by abruptly grabbing my arm and dragging me towards the bar like a rag doll.
"You do know--"
"That Luke is following you? Yes, sister. He is." Kylie warns, and my heart leaps at that. I thought ditching Luke back at the TCA's will finally bring me peace and solitude, but obviously I thought wrong.
A shot glass was slid in front of me. I quickly took it, lifting it to my lips and drinking it in one gulp. I almost cough from the burning sensation running down my throat.
"Luke is coming! Hide!" Kylie shouts, sounding more panicked than I was. She tends to over exaggerate situations like this, but I knew she was just being a good friend.
She brings me to the end of the bar, then forced me to sit on one of the bar stools. I assume that it's her attempt to hide me from Luke.
Demanding me to stay put, she stalks to the other direction, leaving me. It felt like I was in some kind of CSI tv show, hiding from a wanted serial killer.
I was alone and ordered another shot of tequila, gulping it down almost instantly.
"Wow." A voice said, just next to me.
Startled, I turned to find, sitting beside me was Calum Hood. 5 Second of Summer's bassist and Luke's left hand man on stage. My heart rate heightens again, anxious that he might call Luke.
Regardless of what happened earlier, I still wished for Luke to leave me alone. I want him no where near me. The next thing you know, he has a decapitated head.
"Never have I seen a woman down a drink like that before."
Calum said, a boyish smile creeping on his lips. The smile that make the young ladies swoon and how much I hated to admit it, I was one of them.
"Uhm, Is that a compliment or?"
He lets out a low, raspy chuckle causing the heat to reach the tip of my ears.
I decided that Calum was my favorite member out of the four cause I found him the cutest with his chubby cheeks and puppy-like appearance.
"I just like drinkers. Turn ons." He shrugs, before taking a sip of his beer, gaze still focused on me as he did so. I could have melted on the spot. But that would be mortifying for Calum.
He puts down his beer bottle, wiping his hand against his shirt.
"Calum." he said smoothly, extending a hand out for me to shake, which I gladly took.
"Scarlett." I returned him a smile out of politeness.
"Ah, Luke's girl." he mutters, taking another sip of his beer. I blinked at his words.
"Luke's girl?" I repeated.
"And damn, he's lucky." Calum pulls a smirk causing my cheeks to tinge a pink hue. I suppress a giggle by chewing on my bottom lip.
Calum and I ordered a few drinks and conversed about each others lives, mainly about his band and my modeling career. Before I knew it, we were already grinding on each other on the dance floor.
