Unknown's game

Chapter 2

Text Message:

Unknown: Oh no, Marissa.

Unknown: You can't let the principal take your phone cause you misbehave in class.

Marissa: Then so help me before I show this to them and trace it back to whoever you are.

Unknow: Fair enough.

         Everyone was just staring down at their phone and kept wondering what exactly will happen to everyone in class, since everyone is in the group chat. “Class” Mrs.D came into the classroom. “Today has been unhinged” she sighed. “Take a seat, we only have a couple minutes left of class” Mrs.D sat down. Pearl the Earl walked up to Mrs.D “Can I go to the bathroom?” I overheard them, Mrs.D nodded.

Text Message:

Unknown: Oh look, Pearl the Earl left the room.

Ralfe: LMAO, Pearl the Earl?! What kind of name is that??

Stacy: How did you know she left?

Unknown: Anyone ready for the next breathtaking round?

You: You can’t make us play this game.

Unknown: Yes, a game. I have rules.

Blake: Rules?

Unknown: Yes, Rules.

You: Have fun with your game, I’m not playing.

Blake: …Me neither

Asher: I'm out

Random classmate: I'm out too

Random classmate 2: Same

Unknown: STOP. Only I, can tell who is out or what.

You: … Says who?

Unknown: Says me

The rules of this game is that, you will be a player till I say. There would be rounds like the ones before, prizes will be 💰 💰. Anything goes, and there is no such thing as cheating. Always obey me.

If you disobey me, or these rules, then money will be taken out of your parents bank account. Have fun.

    At this point, everyone was freaked out, not knowing what to do. Another kid I call ‘The bell boy’ didn’t really care about what was happening, because he didn’t have a phone. The bell boy has Down syndrome and was always looking at the time, telling us when the bell was going to ring. I could hear him counting “5… 4… 3… 2…” I was waiting to get out of the classroom and maybe go straight home. “1!” The bell boy yelled but all I could hear was everyone in the school screaming, there was a blackout.

         “Everyone, please st….ay

..c...lm….” the principal spoke over the speaker. “Pl…….se….s…..y…..in..n...yo…..r….cr….a...ls…..r….m…..” I hugged Blake and waited for another bad announcement. I can hear the speaker turn on again.

         “Hello, math class” someone spoke through the speaker, it was a man with a deep voice. Speaking without fear in his voice. “Beautiful day, isn't it?” he paused “lets play a fun game. Shall we?” I can feel a smirk in his voice. “It was fun in the group text, but I feel that it will be better for this one round for you players to hear my wonderful voice”

         “Unknown…” I got goosebumps all over my body.

         “Yes, Herminie. Its me, Unknown.” He started laughing. I increased my grip on Blake, knowing that unknown can hear what I was saying.

         Everyone in the class was freaking out, knowing that unknown was actually taking this game serious. “I have your friend, or foe. Pearl. The next round is for you to come to the gymnasium and save her, if you don't come, you and your family will become bankrupt. Good luck.” The speaker turned off then back on, giving us an amount of time.

         “SHIT! My family can't go bankrupt!” James ran out of the room and everyone else started running after him.
          “Mrs.D!” I yelled for her, when I turned towards Mrs.D she was sound asleep. “Fuck!” I yelled.

         “Minnie! Hurry! 1 minute left.” Blake grabbed my hand and dragged me out of the room to the gym. When we got into the gym everyone was looking around for Pearl. I stood by the entrance and looked at everyone while they were like monkeys trying to find food.

          A small muffled noise was coming from the top of the gym, it was Pearl, she was tied up and a gag was placed in her mouth. I took a step into the gym and the doors slammed shut behind me, I still wonder why in the world is there no teachers here or in the hallway. “Let's move to a more….appropriate place” He laughed and something dropped from the ceiling making clanking noise. White smoke started to come out of the bombs and one by one, everyone started to fall to the ground.

         “Minnie!” Marissa ran towards me and grabbed my arm “I'm so sorry” she cried, Issas eyes were closing and she fell down onto the floor.

         “Minnie!” Blake stared at me and hugged me, burying my face in his chest. Blake fell down while hugging me, I played there not knowing what to do.

         “The smoke bombs would put them to sleep, giving us enough time to put them into those special boxes.” Unknown spoke. He was actually here. “Is that Blake and Herminie? Are they together now?”

         “Yea, you made them kiss, remember?” Someone else was with him, he wasn't working alone. The voice was a females voice, it sounded very familiar, like I know it from somewhere. “Toss her into the van first” she kicked Blake off of me and tried to grab me. I tried to kick her off of me but the smoke was starting to affect me and making my vision blurry.

         “Ah, Herminie, you've always been the fastest one” Unknown came at me and injected me with some tranquilizer to put me to sleep.

         “Get...off..of...m…” I fell asleep. I couldn’t see anything, but I can feel movements, pushing me back and forth. I tried to fight the sleepiness but I couldn't fight it any longer.
