A lot changed in the next few weeks. I kept my promise and started visiting Jason regularly. He was more than happy to see me drive into the parking lot. Every time I showed up he was already there waiting for me. I don't know how he manages to be there on time, he doesn't have a watch. Maybe he has some sort of spider sense ... or he's sleeping there. Who knows. He showed me the camp and we talked a lot. Well I talked and he wrote. It was fun and interesting, because we actually have a lot in common. We both love nature, books and even (insert hobby). I would have never thought to meet someone like him. Not everything was sunshine though. He still killed and that fact made me uncomfortable. It was easy to ignore when it was just the two of us, but sometimes other people, especially teens, would ruin our conversations and I had to accept the reality. It's scary how fast his mood changes when he senses intruders. He gets all serious and tells me to not leave his house.

I disobeyed the first time and left to find and warn them. I didn't want to feel responsible for their deaths. I tried my best, but they didn't belief me. They thought I was drunk, high or both. So basically they thought I was like them. They even tried to hit on me! So I hit back ... with a kick to the nuts. I managed to make my way back to Jason's cabin and covered my ears to drown the screams. Jason apologized later for causing me discomfort, after he found me lying on the couch crying, wrapped in a blanket like a sad burrito. He tried to calm me down and took of his bloody jacket so I didn't have to see the blood. It didn't help much but I appreciated the effort.

After the first incident I wanted to stay home forever. The screams were nerve wrecking and meeting a serial killer isn't exactly something I planned on doing every week. It also takes me two darn hours to get there. I wondered why I agreed to do this in the first place. Never coming back would have been the logic decision. "He's a killer (Y/n)! That means he KILLS people! You need to stop seeing him! It's too dangerous!" I had this argument with myself over and over again, looking into the mirror, jelling at my reflection. But when I finally decided to go there and tell Jason, that this is the last time ... I couldn't bring myself too actually do it. I don't think that he would kill me. His eyes are full of joy and hope whenever I look at them.

He knew I had a hard time accepting his killer side so he did everything he could to make it easier and make me feel better. He cleaned his house so it doesn't look like a haunted cabin anymore, started washing his clothes more often and also changed them after every killing spree. Even though he didn't stop killing he started doing it as silent as possible. He even backed "cookies" for me, at least that's what they were trying to be. I couldn't help but feel flattered (and bloated) . All this effort just for me.

The more time I spent with him and got to know him, the more I dreaded to leave. I couldn't stand the face he made. He looked like a wounded puppy, despite his otherwise manly appearance. It broke my heart.

Time passed. Days turned to weeks and weeks turned to months. Before I knew it visiting a serial killer became normal. This masked giant is now my friend. I would even say that he's my best friend.

[oneFriday evening]

A fierce battle. The opponents eyed each other, trying to figure out the next move, that would hopefully end this fight once and for all. They had already forgotten for how long they've been there. All they knew, was that it was late and they where both tired, but giving up wasn't an option. Too much was at stake. The young (Y/n) gave the Crystal Lake Killer a serious look. He looked her right in the eyes, awaiting her next move. She leaned forward.

"Do you have a 9?" Jason shook his head and tapped the deck. "Dammit."He grinned under his mask as you pulled a card and leaned back into the wooden chair.

Today both of you made a shocking discovery. There was only one bag of your favorite chips left. You could have divided them evenly, but concluded that it would be much more fun to have a duel. [AN: Btw don't ask me about the rules. I have no idea what they are playing.XD]

Jason put all his cards in one hand, showed you five fingers with his freehand, paused for a second and did the saw thing again. "You want a 5?"

He shackes his head and does the same thing more clearly. "Ah I see. You want two fives. Sorry Jason you know the rules. I can only give you one card." You try your best to keep your poker face, but couldn't keep a grin from sneaking on your lips as he tilts his head.

He exhales and slowly places his cards on the table before holding all of his fingers right in your face. You chuckle and move them out of the way. "A 10?" He nods. "Why didn't you say so sooner?" His expression almost formed a imaginary speech bubble that said: Really?! You burst out laughing. "You're so easy to mess with. Here's your 10." He gladly took it and smacked it with all his remaining cards on the table. Royal flush. "Oh come on!"

Jason grabs the bag of chips and holds them triumphantly in the air. [Lion king music playing in the background.] He opens the bag, the smell alone making your mouth water up. He fished out a single chip and waved it playfully through the air. A smile formed under his mask seeing your eyes follow the treat. You frown as it finally disappeared under his mask. To make things worse he made an exaggerating mmmh sound.

You fake glare at him. "You're the worst." He chuckles and hands you the back. Your face lights up and you thankfully grab the bag. "Ok, maybe not the worst." You smile and start munching on some chips. After a moment he holds out his hand, waiting to get his bag back. You simply continue eating. He goes to grab it, but you hold it out of reach. You take out a chip and slowly put it in your mouth to eat it. "~How does it feel to get teased?~" Jason sat still. You didn't realize how sexy that gesture was and what a blushing mess Jason was behind his mask. Only his slightly redder ears where visible.

He grabs his notepad to write a sassy response, but there was no space left. You stop eating and look at the full notepad. "Huh. Guess you have to save your answer for later. I'll buy you a new one." You turn back to your stolen goodies.

"That wouldn't be necessary." His unexpected deep voice send chills down your spin.

You turn your head. "D-did you just?" He used the opportunity and took the bag out of your hands. You sat there and stared at him with a baffled expression.

"What?"He took a chip and ate it.

"What do you mean 'What'? You never talked before, I thought you were mute!" He just shrugged his shoulders and continued eating.

Jasons POV:

I can't believe I finally worked up the courage to talk to her. All this writing was starting to bother me. Now I can finally tell her how much she means to me. I can do this. I only have to look her right in the eyes and say th-.

"Jason?" Her voice startled me, causing me to inhale a chip. I gasp for air and run for the sink. I let the water run through the holes in my mask. The cold water soothing my sore throat. That's when I felt a gentle hand pad my back.

"Are you all right big guy?" I nod. "Yeah."I turn around and face her. Say it! Tell her how you feel!

"It's getting late. Time for me to go home." I frown. "Sorry Jason."She walks to the front door and I follow her. She opens it and steps outside. "See ya Jason." Her (h/c) hair shimmered in the light of the rising moon. My mind begged me to make her stay. All I could say was "Bye."
I knew she would come back, but after all this time I still hate to watch her go. "Oh and Jason?" She turned around. "You have a nice voice." My heart sipped a beat. "Thanks." She smiled and looked away, her cheeks turning pink.
