After the limo exploded, Theo has also been play chauffer. Using his new 2008 Chevy convertible to get Liam from points A, B and C alive. Without being worried that somebody tampered with it.
The moments of rest were few and far between so Theo treasured them the most. Even helping him with his biology homework was fun for him.
"Is it normal when the words start to look like gibberish?" Liam asked.
"It is not. It means you're tired."
Theo said slapping Liam's face gently.
"No...I'm okay." Liam insisted.
"Let's forget this for a while and go have dinner." Theo said.
"I'm not hungry." Liam said looking at the page blankly.
"Pretty please?" Theo asked.
"Since you asked so nicely..." Liam said and got to his feet.
Looking a little wobbly.
"You okay, kid?" Theo asked.
"Mm-hmm. Just got up too soon.
Let's go." Liam said sweetly. Theo held on to his arm just in case.
That should have been the end of it but as the days got more hectic,
Liam's body couldn't keep up.Liam was running lines in trailer with Theo and...
"There's strength in numbers. We...have to stick together."
Liam read. Rubbing his eyes.
"There's also death in numbers. It's called a massacre." Theo answered.
"So what do you sug...suggest..."
Liam paused holding his head.
"Liam? You okay?"
Theo asked going over to him.
"Yeah...just..." Theo lifted his chin.
"Liam...you're bleeding." Theo said concerned. Liam ran a finger under his bleeding nose.
"Huh." Was all he said before everything went black.
"Liam? Liam. Hey, wake up." Theo said urgently. Slapping his face to wake him up before stepping outside to call for help.
An on-set medical technician saw to him and he was sent home.
Scott was already at Theo's house to fret over him and scold him.
Having a chat with Theo downstairs.
"This isn't the first time this happened. It happened two years ago. When he got overworked.
I hate seeing him like this.
You need to talk to him." Scott said.
"Me? You're his brother. He'll listen to you." Theo said hushed.
"No he won't. But he'll listen to you.
Because he's in love with you." With that cryptic revelation, Scott hopped in his jeep and left.
He couldn't just drop information like that and freaking leave!
As much as Theo loved him, this was a lot of pressure!
What would he even say?
This was leagues out of his comfort zone. So instead he stood staring at him from a distance.
"I'm fine." Liam said tiredly.
"You were bleeding." Theo said.
"I'm fine." Liam insisted.
"You passed out." Theo said pacing.
"I took a brief involuntary nap.
I'll live." Liam said dryly.
"I'm glad you find this so hilarious because I don't." Theo said seriously.
"Whatever. Let's just go to bed." Liam said annoyed.
"Yeah. Let's." Theo said and took off his shoes. Hitting the lights and hopping into bed.
He went to sleep worrying. Woke up worrying. Looking over at him in the other bed...
He knew what he had to do.Liam woke up at 9:45 in the morning.
"Crap! Crap! Crap! Balls I'm late!
I'm a dead man." Liam panicked and threw on a shirt. Tried to put on his jeans as he came down the stairs.
Meeting Theo in the kitchen.
"Morning." Theo said casually sipping orange juice.
"Do you know what time it is?
Why didn't you wake me up?!"
Liam creaked. Pulling up his pants.
"Because we're playing hookie." Theo said with a devious smile.
The boy had plans.
