The Move

    The mansion looked like it was brand new but, it is said that the mansion has been abandoned for years. My name is Arrow Storm I am a junior in high school, with blue eyes and blond hair and I live in a town that is said to have a haunted mansion. In fact, I have to live in it for a while because my old house in town mysteriously caught fire with me inside but, that's a story for another time. As I was saying my family and I have to move into the haunted mansion. As we were driving up the hill to get there it seemed the air was growing colder. I could have bet a dollar that I heard an owl hoot in a tree like in those movies where the characters are going into a creepy place. When we pulled into the driveway I got out of the car very slowly. As I was about to shut my door my mom said-

     "Bro when are you going to talk about me your twin sister Emily Storm the one who got all the looks, and-"

     "STOP Emily, this is my story and you did not get all the looks now be quiet I am getting there." Sorry that was my sister Emily she has blond hair and blue eyes like I do but I'm tanner and I have darker blue eyes then her. Mine are like the ocean so a little green and hers are like the sky.

      "But I'm older. So be quiet about eye color. The point of the matter is we both have blue eyes."

    " Be quite Emily and who cares we're twins we are the same age." 

"But, I was born first" 

    "No one cares. Now shut your mouth. " So back to what I was saying, my mom said, 

  "Emily why don't you and your brother see how the mansion looks from the inside." That was the last thing I wanted to do but reluctantly I went with my sister anyway. (p.s I did not want to go with my sister in the first place either I would have rather gone by myself than with her. )           

    When my sister and I got to the door I asked her, "Shouldn't we all see it together maybe we should go back and help bring in our things. 

   My sister teased, "You aren't scared are you?" 

  "No it's just something doesn't feel right I said nervously. 

   "Whatever let's just go in I don't feel anything," said my sister.  Maybe my sister was right, wow I can't believe I  actually thought that but maybe there was nothing wrong because the feeling was no longer there, maybe it was all in my head but, I could have bet another dollar that it felt like I was being watched.  I looked nervously behind me at the oak trees lining the driveway.  As I was looking I saw a flicker of movement out the corner of my eye, but when I looked again there was nothing. I started walking towards the tree to get a closer look.

" What are you doing get back here," said my sister waving me over.

"Oh, nothing. I thought I heard an owl and I wanted to see if I could see it," I said jogging over to her at the front door.

"Did the boy see you?" asked a mysterious voice. "I don't think so boss", said another voice that sounded gravely. "Good you can't be spotted it's vital to our plan now go back and keep watching the kid", said a mysterious voice.

Emily opened the door and we walked inside I don't know what I was expecting, but nothing like this the mansion looked like it has been well cleaned and everything looked like someone was living there. I said to Emily, "This is defiantly not what I had in mind."
