Put him to work

Izumiko's POV:
I woke up to my alarm and slowly got out of bed. Taking a shower and then doing my hair and makeup.

I put on a simple pair of jeans and a white shirt.

Walking out of my room I noticed that Sagara's door was open. Peeking in I saw that he wasn't in his bed. His bathroom door was open and the light was off so he wasn't in there either.

I couldn't help but wonder where he was.

I had some important things I needed him to help me with.

Walking to the kitchen I grabbed some cooked rice with nori on top.  (U already know that I had to look this up😋)

I walked all around the house while eating, looking for Sagara. But he was nowhere to be found. But as I walked past the field, an arrow came only inches past my face.

Turning left I saw Sagara with his eyes wide and holding up his bow.

I broke the silence with a whistle.

"That was a close one...you need to watch where your shooting Sagara," I say pointing at him with my chopsticks.

He glares at me and puts his bow down.

"Well, maybe next time you shouldn't be sneaking up on me when I'm practicing!" He said loudly so I could hear him from across the field.

"It's never a good idea to sneak up on an archer!" He said

I giggled remembering the last time he scolded me on this. We were so young then...

"What'ya giggling about?!" He asked me, a puzzled look on his face.

"Oh nothing...just remembered something," I said back to him

"Anyway..." I said carrying out the word. "I was looking for you..." I say leaning on the fence that separates me and the field he was in.

"oh really...what for?" He asked with a slight smirk on his face.

"I need you to help me with some errands.." I say calmly

"Oh, what kind of errands?" He asks

"Well, technically I wanted to tell you that you're going to be my assistant," I say

He looked puzzled "your assistant?" He said

I nodded "yes, you'll help me with the wedding plans and things..." I answered.

"Izumi I'm supposed to be your bodyguard, not your maid of honor." He said with a frown.

"Well, my maid of honor isn't here right now so since you'll be around me at all times it's just a lot more convenient for you to assist me," I say confidently.

"Fiinnee but at least let me finish my practice." He said pouting

I nodded and walked away "you know where to find me!" I say with my back to him.

I've had more time on my hands this past week because I'm not enrolled in my new school yet so u know. But I'm going to start there soon so I will prob have barely any time to write and if I do it will be in little bits of just one chapter so u know.
