After Gajeel finished singing and we finished eating, Gajeel was packing up to go. After Sting argued that he had to pay for the bill, since it was the manly thing to do, I ran up to the Dragon Slayer.
I have the option to approach him like a normal person and say hi or jump on his back like a crazy person. Eh, whatever I wanna jump on his back. I got a running start and hopped up on his back and wrapped my legs around his waist.
Gajeel stumbled forward a little due to the added weight.
"Argh! Who the heck?!" He shouted, which cause Sting to walk over sweatdropping at my antics. I didn't let go of Gajeel, in fact I held on tighter.
"Hey Gaji!" I said cheerfully. Gajeel stopped moving and froze. Sting walked over to the two of us and carried my down off of his back. Sting was about to say something or scold me, but I gave him a smile and he shut up.
"Monkey?" Gajeel asked softly turning around to face me. I gave him a goofy grin,
"In the flesh!" I said grinning at him. He hugged me and I smiled. Gajeel may seem cold on the outside, but inside he's just a big baby.
"What are you doing here?" He asked pushing me away. I pouted then when straight for the question.
"I know this is-" I was interuppted before I could ask the question.
"Yeah, I'll rejoin Fairytail. It's just I've got nothing better to do." Gajeel said lying. I rolled my eyes and asked him,
"How did you know?"
"It's kinda hard not to know. The royal army has Wanted posters of Salamander all around town, since he decided to set the royal castle on fire and writing Fairytail." Gajeel said shrugging. I shrugged my shoulders, he's probably right. Sting stared mouth opened wide at the information.
"Natsu did that?!" He asked eyes wide. Gajeel finally noticed that the Light Dragon Slayer was there.
"And why are you here punk?" He asked eyeing our intertwined hands. Then it clicked, Gajeel looked at me then back to Sting, and back again. He then sighed and said,
"You better take good care of her." I blushed madly as Sting nodded.
"I will." He said. What? I'm right here you know?
The three of us headed back to the almost finished guild.
"Monkey. Do you know where um...Shrimp is?" Gajeel asked quietly blushing. Aww, he's asking for Levy!
"Why? Do you loooove her?" I asked impersonating Happy. The two boys stopped and shook their heads.
"Mari. Please never do that again." Sting said squeezing my hand tightly. Gajeel nodded in agreement. I pouted at the mean Dragon Slayers.
"Fine. But to answer your question Gajeel. I don't know where Levy is. We haven't found her yet." I said thinking about the smart blue haired girl. Maybe Lucy will know, they were best friends.
