Startled in a new way

At the party......

The lights were bright and the music was blaring. After all, it was a party for the packs to get together.  My name is Piper if you were wondering. I have black hair with purple streaks in them and I have what looks like Violet eyes. However my wolf is much different. As I moved past people,  I saw my closest friend.

Rebecca came running over with her red hair flying past her.  "hey I almost missed u" she panted.  "I'm sorry but I have not been paying attention to..  Um...  Anyone. " I said.  Her eyes (which seemed kinda white)  pierced into mine with annoyance. "look over there! " she suddenly said. When I looked over past her I saw alpha James.  A sudden shock filled me as he walked over toward me and grabbed my wrists.
