The comic actually has/will have a whole lot of color symbolism, so I guess it's a little strange that I've tried to port that over to an entirely written medium. But maybe I can pull it off anyway??? You be the judge. If it ends up falling flat then you'll just have to buy the comic for the full experience *wink wink*.
