"I did it!!!" I heard Rick scream. It had been four days since it broke and those days were pure torture. I walk into the garage and Rick was opening portals everywhere out of excitement. He sees me and runs up to peck me on the lips. "It works! See.." he jumps through one and comes out the other.
"Finally." Was all I could say, I pour some alcohol in my coffee cup and take a sip.
"Yeah well I'm gonna probably be gone for a few days, I got to catch up on a few things." He explains opening a portal on the ground and jumping in. He disappears and I go into the kitchen and pour myself cereal. The clinking of the crunchy breakfast against the metal bowl ringing in my ears. I sigh and pour in a splash of milk, getting a little on the counter. I shrug and walk into the living room, sitting on the floor.
*time skip*
"Rick has been gone for almost a month now and I'm starting to get worried.." I explain to Beth.
"I wouldn't worry too much, he'll come back, he loves you." She response.
"Woah! Don't go throwing around the L word. We never say it....ever." I look down towards the table in thought.
"It's okay (y/n), he doesn't say it to anybody." She pats my shoulder in comfort. Suddenly, my phone starts ringing. I look at the caller ID and see it's Rick, I pick up.
"Hello?" I say confused on why he would call me.
"(Y/n)?! Thank god where the fuck are you?" He asks relieved but also stressed.
"At your daughters house. Where are you?" I questioned.
"At the house. I thought they took you so I hurried home as soon as I could!" He sounded really worried through the phone.
"Who are you talking about? Oh...the flumflarts. Right, no I'm safe don't worry, besides I put the house on lock down after you left." I reassure him.
"Good. Could you um...come home?" He seemed nervous. "I-" I couldn't hear the rest of what he said, he clears his throat. "I-I miss you..."
"Awe the cold hearted robot has feelings." I coo in laughter.
"Shut the fuck up and get your ass to the house.
