We sat around the open area in the shadow forest as it is known, which I am not quite sure on why and nor did I care at the moment. I was still trying to calm down after the whole banishment and family issues stuff, but Cass and Dally both were quiet. I watched the two closely and notice that Dally was giving Cass the death glare, which I really don't understand why and I want to get down to the bottom of it all. "Dally, why do you keep glaring at Cass like that?" I asked, Cass who wasn't even any attention to Dally perked up his ears and look in my direction. Dally stopped glaring and looked at me, "Well if he didn't come along we wouldn't have be banished from the pack, in fact this was all his fault! This wouldn't have happen if we didn't run into him." Dally stated angrily. I shook my head, "Dally it isn't his fault, it's mine and plus this was bound to happen anyway." I claimed. He gave me a confused look, "You see even if he didn't come this would've happened anyway, but I wasn't expecting that you would get banished for it too." I explained. I looked away from him and felt bad for dragging him into this, honestly Dally didn't deserve this and I couldn't say anything to make it better. "I'm going to look for a suitable cave for us to stay the night in, because I smell a storm on the way." Cass stated, while walking away and that just left me alone with Dally.
"I'm still confused on how this is your fault." Dally added, I looked at him and decided that I should tell him. "You see... from my birth other wolves were scared, unsure of whether to trust me because I am different. With everyone being so cautious of having there pups around me I never really had any friends, that is until you started to bother me and playing around. After a year my mom became terribly ill as you know, then when I realized dad was never in the den much even when mom was in pain. I started to get curious and worried, which lead to me following him one night and that's when I saw..." I said then I started to tear up. I sniffed, "My dad was with another she wolf, after I saw him I started to run and tried to get to the den. But he spotted me and ran after me, quickly I dashed into the den. And started to tell my mom all about it until my dad came in and grabbed me by the scruff, when he grabbed me I saw mom going through another coughing fit and she tried to get up. Suddenly the other she wolf rushed into the den and bit down on my mom's neck, I tried to get loose from my dad but before I could I heard the snapping of bones from mom." I continued. Dally looked concerned but I went on, "My dad did NOTHING!!! He didn't stop the she wolf, he let her kill mom! That murderous she wolf is NIXY!!!! And I had no one to comfort me! No one to save me from this dark lonely hole of pain and sorrow!!!" I cried. I fell down onto the ground and cried, "You don't have to be lonely, you never had to be... because you have me." Dally comforted. I felt him lay down next to me and lay his head by mine, I heard paw steps coming from behind and shoved my feelings away and sat up, then I looked behind us and saw Cass coming up to us. He had a scared expression on his face, "What's wrong?" I questioned with concern. "W-we shouldn't be here! T-they're everywhere!" Cass claimed with a frightened tone, "Cass calm down, who is everywhere?" I asked while he looked around as if he saw something, "The shadow beast... I-I saw tons of them and a bone yard with fresh b-blood while looking for a nearby cave." He explained while stuttering. I stood up and Dally did to, "Show us." I commanded.
Cass took of running the direction he said, that he saw what he called... shadow beast that's it! Quickly Dally and I rushed to catch up with him, then Cass abruptly stopped and I almost fell over the cliff. Luckily Cass grabbed my scruff before I could fall and pulled me back away from the edge. "Should we warn someone about this?" Cass questioned. I thought about what might happen and the first thing that came to mind was the pack, quickly the anger from before filled me. "No, since they think I'm a curse let them suffer for never believing me and for banishing us." I replied with distaste, I felt both Cass and Dally's gaze on me. I looked at them and let out a little bit of a growl which made them look away, "Let's go no point in sticking around here." I stated while walking away, with a quick glance I noticed Dally and Cass didn't move. I turned around and looked at them, they looked at me with scowls on their faces. "What?" I questioned , "We can't just let a threat like this harm your old pack, even if they did banish you." Cass stated with Dally nodding in agreement, "I hate to agree with this guy, but he is right. We can't just let something like this go without warning," Dally added. I felt even more angry and my fur started to spike up, "Really you think they would listen if we told them about a threat they cant see!? They would call us insane and try to kill us for stepping into the territory, if you want to die be my guest!" I snapped angrily. Both of them looked scared from me snapping at them, but without looking back I walked away.
I didn't hear them behind me after I got further away and I felt bad for yelling at them, then I caught a glance of something in the corner of my eye and stopped. I looked in the direction of the movement and saw only red eyes, "You can't run, Lunaira. I will always know where you are... sister." female voice said with echos and demonic tone. I was confused and I felt a sudden fear creep into me which caused me to run away as fast as I could, I could hear the sound of my own heart beating in my ears as I ran away from the area and as I ran everything that was around me just became a blur. I felt my paw give out and fell on to the ground, I tried pushing myself up but my strength failed and I fell to the ground while breathing heavily. I tried to look around from where I was but some strong force was pinning me against the ground, shadows surrounded me and clouded my vision. The only thing I could really see was a shadowy figure standing above me with bloodstained teeth and red glowing eyes, but this wasn't like the one I seen before and I could tell because it was smaller. Even though it's size was small it still had a powerful force surrounding it, "Join us and you'll see what you truly are." The same female voice said before with an even darker demonic tone. I couldn't think or breath for that matter and felt like I was slowly dying, suddenly something inside of me unleashed itself and a burst of amethyst colored light surrounded me. Within a second the barrier burst release the the energy and scaring away the shadows that was surrounding me, although they were gone I felt weak and couldn't get up. The last thing I could see while my vision darkened was Dally running towards me, with an expression I couldn't see and my thoughts stopped while the world around me went black.
