Jackson
Who the hell did she think she was? Trying to run away from me would be her biggest mistake. No one ever gets away from me. I don't know where I'm going to bring her right now I mean she's passed out on my shoulder that would look so bad. I know where her apartment is so maybe I can get up there, but someone in the building could see me. I'll just try it anyways I can just say that she's drunk if anything. I started to go to the other side of the building to get in. I saw people staring at us but they didn't even looked worried about her. They just went on with their day.
I finally got to the elevator but of course someone got on with me. can I not just have two seconds alone today? They kept glancing at me then looking down at her. I knew that they were going to say something or just do something. And of course I was right.
"Why do you have a girl hung off your shoulder?"
"She got really drunk and ended up passing out so I am carrying her back to her apartment so nothing would happen."
They just shook their head and stared straight ahead, I was a better liar than I thought I was. I guess I am since my dad raised me that way. That dumb person finally got off the elevator one floor before hers, and of course before they got out decided to stare at me. I'm getting really pissed off today, someone honestly might get hit at this point I don't care. I felt her moving so it seemed like she was getting up. But there was no way that was possible that serum is suppose to last at least an hour. Then I realized that it was the elevator stopping thank god because I have no idea what i'm going to do with her at this point.
I walked to the end of the hallway and tried to open the door, of course it was locked how did I not think of that. She didn't even have a pocket so where would her key be? Maybe under the door mat or tucked away somewhere near here. I went to lift the rug up but she almost fell. I placed her down gently and lifted the rug. Of course it was under there that isn't the best place to really hide a key I guess i'll have to move it. I unlocked the door and picked her up. When I got in there I placed her on the couch and went to the kitchen to try and find an aspirin and a glass for some water. I easily found the glass but I had no idea where her medicine would be.
I didn't have enough time to look because I heard footsteps coming from the living room. I came out of the kitchen and some how she was already up there is no way it's been an hour. When she saw me she looked so scared I had to pretend that I didn't do anything to her, she had to trust me again I can't let her go with Damon. I started walking towards her but she just backed up into her wall.
"Please don't hurt me again I promise I won't run again. Please just don't make me black out please." She said sounding very scared and worried.
I went to touch her check but she flinched I had a lot of convincing to do.
"What are you talking about I found you unconscious and brought you here. You kept screaming keep me away from Damon I think he did this to you. I found you on the street near a macron shop. I would never hurt you Maria."
She looked really confused for a moment but then raised her voice at me.
"No I remember everything that happened you can't lie to me it won't work. I've heard about you and how you think you can get out of anything by lying. Do not try to play me right now. I am not in the mood and I have a massive headache from what you gave me." She said almost yelling.
"How dare you talk to me that way after everything I have done for you, I saved you from the street. I have done nothing wrong to you this whole time. You are no one compared to me. Do you understand now lets go we are leaving and you are coming with me."
"I will never ever come with you, you don't control me."
I had enough of her attitude I could not control my anger any longer and went to punch something. I almost hit her my hand landed right beside her head. I heard her scream and saw her go to the ground. She started to crawl away I let her go to the kitchen but she would have to agree with me sometime. I saw her get her aspirin and some water. I let her take it then I went into the kitchen she didn't hear me go in, so when she turned around she gasped and dropped her glass. It shattered and some got stuck in her foot.
"Ow holy shit look what you made me do."
I tried to keep my cool since she is hurt. But she still shouldn't talk to me like that. It won't end up well for her, next time I don't think it will be the wall that I hit. She is really getting on my nerves. I looked down at her foot and realized it was gushing blood, so I picked her up bridal style and tried to find the bathroom. It was easy to find, there was a piece of glass stuck in her foot I had to get a pair of pliers and pull it out. I could hear her soft cries I got a cloth, wet it and started cleaning up her foot. She reached down and held the cloth.
"You don't have to clean me up I can do it myself." She sounded very defeated.
"It's okay I don't mind I feel like it's my fault anyways."
It was good that we both calmed down maybe she will actually come with me now.
"So have you changed your mind on coming with me now? I know that it doesn't seem necessary but I know that it is. You don't know how dangerous Damon really is. If you think my temper is bad you should see his he kills when he gets mad. That's why he is the most wanted man in New York right now. Everyone wants him in his gang you don't want to be involved with him."
I just lied a bit to her I had to for her to come with me. Damon doesn't actually kill anyone he hasn't killed girls and put them in ditches, he doesn't have a bad temper and no gangs want him. I just really want her to come with me. So if I have to lie for it to happen I really don't care, it happens everyday anyways. She looked up from her foot.
"I'll come with you Jackson."
I guess my lying really did pay off.
