                                                                                          Maria

What is going on? What should I do? There is no way I can go with a complete stranger and I can't go back to Damon if this is true. I need to find a way out of all of this. How am I suppose to get out of the game.

"I can't just go with you. I can't go to Damon. I'm going to be honest I don't even know what to do."

"Listen to me I think that your best option would be to come with me. My name is Jackson, and I want to help you."

I decided that right now my best option would be to go with him. But either way I'm going to leave some time today. I looked at him and decided to be nice for once today.

"I think that I'll come with you for now. But I really don't think that I will stay with you for long."

He looked upset even though I told him I would come with him right now, what more could he want? He just started to walk in a different direction so I decided to follow him even though I had no idea where he was going. He better not be planning something.

As we were walking to wherever we were heading to I got to thinking, if his dad was in charge of that game why would he be working at that little shop? He has all the money he needs and more. Maybe he decided to leave his dad or the other way around? I don't understand what's happening at this point and how he found out about me. I wasn't paying attention at all and I didn't even notice that he stopped walking. The moment that I looked up I ran right into his back. I fell and really hurt my back.

"Ow what the hell why would you just stop like that?"

"I was actually trying to talk to you but you weren't even listening."

"Well sorry but I was thinking."

He didn't continue to talk he just started to walk again. God now he's going to be the one being rude. I actually started to pay attention and followed him. I made sure that I wouldn't run into his back again. He ended up stopping in about five minutes. We stopped in front of a nice looking car. He still didn't talk to me he just got in the car and started it up. I just got into the passenger seat and didn't say a word.

We started to drive and I couldn't handle the silence anymore. I mean where the hell are we going? Why do I always get stuck in these dumb situations?

"Where are we going?"

He still wouldn't answer, but he started to drive even faster. Now I was starting to get worried. He was freaking me out. I mean why the hell wasn't he answering me and where is he taking me. This is not normal, I always get put in these dumb situations. As we kept driving I thought of a quick plan to get away. At the next red light I'll just jump out of the car. I know this area well I mean we aren't even that far from my house I could run in two minutes if I had to.

The red light was coming up so I started to get ready. But how could I take my seat belt off or open the door with out alarming him. So I picked something random up I saw in the car and pretended to drop it.

"Oh i'm so sorry i'm clumsy." I said with a slight giggle.

He didn't seemed annoyed just started to search for it. This was my only chance if I didn't run now I don't think I could ever. So as quietly as I could I undid my seat belt, opened the door and made a run for it. He obviously noticed because the moment I heard that car door slam shut I could hear him start cussing everything out. I just kept running there was no way in hell that I was just going to go with him.

As I almost reached my apartment building I could hear him very close behind me screaming my name.

"MARIA WHERE ARE YOU? I SWEAR YOU BETTER COME TO ME NOW!" I could tell he was furious.

There was no way I could go back to him now he was way too mad for me to even reason with him. So I just kept on running, I was so focused on getting away that I didn't realise that I passed my building. What am I going to do now? I don't even know where I could go at this point. I could try and turn around and go back that way. But I know he would catch me unless I went through the back. So I started to run back towards my building the moment I reached the back I realised it was a horrible idea. Some how he knew about that entrance, it's very excluded from everything else, if you were to walk up you couldn't see it. I searched months for that stupid door so how does he just know that's where it is?

There was no stopping my running so I had to run into him, of course I fell on the ground. Not gonna lie he is pretty built so it hurt a bit. When I looked up at him I swear it looked like steam was coming out of his ears, I could tell that's how mad he was. There was no fixing it at this point, I had no idea what he was going to do with me, or what he even wanted at this point. I went to get up, but he kicked me so I would go right back to the floor. Now I know how angry he was, enough to physically hurt me is way too much for me to handle. I knew I couldn't run again anytime soon, and I don't think I could reason with him so I stayed silent.

I sat there for what felt like forever. But I know it had only been a minute or so. It looked like he was calming down a bit, but there was still no way I was starting the conversation. Unless that's what he wanted. Oh god I don't know. It's not like I've ever been in a situation like this or how to handle myself. I felt like staying silent was my best option.

I was still looking up at him, his hand hasn't left his pocket that made me a bit concerned but I didn't think much of it, it could just be a habit. He bent down to me and I tried to back up, but I could only move a few inches before my back hit a door. He was in my face I couldn't look at him anymore so I looked down and to the side. I saw him take his hand out of his pocket, but there was some kind of needle with some weird liquid in it. I tried to scream but before I could even get a word out he put his hand on my mouth so everything was muffled. I felt a pinch in my arm, and in the moment I felt myself falling asleep. Before I blacked out I felt him pick me up and I knew there was no getting away from him.
