“This is not the most ideal of situations I wish this to be happening in but guys this is Tristan.” I said reluctantly, waiting for the disappointment from either parties.

“You mean THAT Tristan!”

Yes THE fucking Tristan. What other fucking Tristan. The Tristan I’m gonna fuck up because I’m so fucking stupid. Yes THAT Tristan.

That night was probably the worst night for me but I managed to save someone I care for while simultaneously drowning in my own depression

That night was probably the worst night for me but I managed to save someone I care for while simultaneously drowning in my own depression. But that’s all that matters right? That “THEY” are happy. That’s all that mattered to me. His happiness and I managed to fuck that up so bad and that’s on me. I can’t blame anyone else for that. Just me. It's all my fault.

“Yes that Tristan,” I sighed, rolling my eyes at Kaelen for being so obvious

“Yes that Tristan,” I sighed, rolling my eyes at Kaelen for being so obvious.

We all sat awkwardly in silence before Kealen came up with a great idea.

“Hey why don't we all go to Alyssa’s place? She makes good coffee, which I'm sure we all could use,” He interjected.

“Good Idea! It's not a far walk from here. “ I exclaimed, Tristan still nuzzled in the crook of my neck, wrapped in my coat.

“How does that sound?” I asked Tristan standing up, extending my hand out to him.

He nodded his head and stood up.

We walked in silence most of the way to Alyssa’s house, except for the occasional question or two.

*knock knock*

A tall figure stood at the doorway of Alyssa’s apartment, I had always seen him before, just like this. Matthew Chapman, no shirt no shoes no pants, just a towel wrapped around his slender waist; his hair was dripping with water. But somehow it still got to me. He stood leaned against the frame of the store smirking a devilish smile for a couple of seconds before Tristan emerged from behind me, then his face dropped.

“Stop drooling. Matt and go put some clothes on.” Alyssa said, rolling her eyes and pushing past him.

“Hey guys! Come inside.” She motioned us inside.

Matthew and I exchanged glances as I walked past him on our way to the living room.

Matthew and I had a little thing going on for a while

Matthew and I had a little thing going on for a while. He was the first boy I met when I started college at NYU, we hit it off and were dating for a while I guess but it didn’t work out. We’re still close though, I think there was still something between us for a while after but I don’t know honestly,

“So who is this beautiful boy?” Alyssa asked, plopping down on the small swiveling chair in the corner by the fireplace

We all sat in the same chairs we usually sit in except instead of Matt sitting next to me he stood leaned up against the mantle over the fireplace looking quite annoyed, like he had something to say but he just didn’t want to say it.
