Chapter 5

Wen's POV.

After five different shops I have a beautiful dress todo wear to the party. It's black and long to the ankles. I also got a golden necklace matching the belt that goes with the dress. I decide to wear my mom's heels, those will look good. I glance over Shawn. He has been really nice for coming with me.

'Wen? You okay?' He says looking worried. I was so distracted watching him I didn't realise he had turn round.

'Oh! Yes, sorry, I'm a bit tired. We should grab something to eat?' I propose.

'Yeah, sure. Do you want to seat down or take away and eat it on our way back?' He asks with a big smile.

'I don't mind, but maybe it's late and you have to do something?' I would love to spend more time with him, we have been laughing a lot while shopping and he's such a nice guy.

'Fuck, I've got soccer training in about an hour, sorry I forgot. We can eat in the bus then.' Well, that's disapointing but I also have voleyball.

...

I arrive at the sport's centre fifteen minutes before the training starts so I take my eBook out and start reading. I'm too upsentminded after this afternoon. Shawn is an amazing guy and I think I'm starting to really like him, but I don't want to be the new girl who likes a boy the day she arrives.

I can see Gabi waving at me, there's a boy next to her and he looks familiar.

'Hey Wen! How was your day? Are you ready for tomorrow's party?' She asks giving me a hug. And now I recognise him, he's Jack Gilinsky, one of Shawn's friends.

'Hi! Yes, I am. I went to the mall today and I bought a dress. Are you?'

'Yes! This is Jack by the way, he's taken by me though.' She laughs. I can't believe it. I've never talked with him but he is so hot.

'Hi, we have met already at school. You were Wen?' He says with a very hot voice.

'Yeah I am.' I don't know what else to say.

'Well, we should get going, we're already ten minutes late' She says and gives Jack a gentle kiss on his lips.

'See you later babe, I'll be here when you finish' I have to look away, I've never known what to do when couples kiss in front of me, it makes me very uncomfortable.

After training I say good bye to Gabi and rush home. I need to get everything ready for tomorrow, I want everything to be neatly organised and clean. And yes, I'm obsessed with order and perfection.
