"I have something for you," John said.

We were sitting in front of the electric fireplace, drinking our eggnogs under the mistletoe. Our living room was decorated with all the Christmas tree and lights, socks and even small plushie reindeer.

Maria and I had been busy all weeks preparing for it. She left to enjoy Christmas with her family, leaving me and John alone.

I slid out of my lacy robe, completely naked on the thick rug.

"I only want one thing for Christmas, Santa," I moaned.

John froze like a deer caught in a headlight. I pulled him down forcefully and wrapped my legs around his hips in a closed guard position. I pulled the lapel of his grey suit to keep his upper body close to me. Let me see this man passed my guard. I chuckled.

"Kefi," he said.

"Yes, John," I said.

"I love you," he said.

I opened my crossed legs and sat up. Well, that was one unique way to pass a closed guard.

"I love you too," I said. "You had known that for 2 years, 7 months and 5 days, John Ben-Gurion."

John pulled out a box from his pocket. It was not a Christmas gift.

He flicked the box open and a beautiful ring with more diamonds than I could count. Unlike most girls, I did not give a damn about diamonds. And yet I squealed.

"Kefira Levi, will you marry me?" he asked.

I pounced on him like a wolf on a deer. He fell back onto the rug. I ripped open his shirts, the buttons fell everywhere. I licked his bare chest with my tongue. Yummy.

I put my head next to his ear and whispered.

"Yes."
