"DID YOU HEAR ABOUT WHAT MR. LAKESON DID IN CLASS?" My best friend Ryder loudly input. The librarian from behind her scrawny wooden brown desk hushed him viciously, like a cliche, her greying black hair was tied in a strict bun as she glared us down.

"Quiet, Ryder, before we get kicked out again," I hiss at him, as he adjusts his letter jacket. "Now then," I lean in, "What did Mr. Lakeson do in class?" I say above a whisper, as he gives me a grin only the Cheshire would be jealous of.

"So we were in class and Lakeson was all like—"

"Alin!"

I saw a familiar figure in the distance running to me, her blonde hair in loose curls as her unnaturally bright blue eyes fixed on me, she overexaggerated the swing of her hips, she wore a grey sweater and a black short skirt with white tennis shoes. She ran up to me and placed her freshly manicured nails on my shoulders.

"Baby, I've been looking for you everywhere! How come you left me on read?" I winced, I had ignored her texts because she loved to spam my phone, I had thought about blocking her but that would make everything worse.

To tell you the truth, I was thinking about breaking up with her. She was possessive, and threatened to hurt herself if I broke up with her, I didn't want her to hurt herself, but I needed to get away from her. Only Ryder knew that.

Ryder gave me a knowing look and nodded, moving away and gave me a grim look. "See you, dude." I nodded and grinned, turning to look at my over peppy girlfriend. "Hannah, can we talk?" I asked her cautiously.

"Yeah sure, what's up?" She chirped. "I mean, alone?" She gave me a strange look, I could've sworn I saw a strange glow from his eyes but as soon as I blinked it was gone. "Okay," I led her to a secluded bookcase and sighed.

"Listen, Hannah, I...I can't do this." I croaked, it was hard to say knowing the possible consequences. "W-what?" She spluttered. Hannah grabbed the ends of her hair, she did this usually when nervous.

"I'm breaking up with you,"

It seemed as if her perfect mask broke, her enchanting blue eyes really did seem to be glowing this time. She clenched her hands into fists and it felt like a window open, cold surged from the air, her strands whipped from behind her as she glared me down.

"You won't be breaking up with me," her voice bellowed. "I will make you pay for this Alin, trust. You will regret this day, no begging will save you."

With that she pushed me into the shelves and stormed past me, her blonde hair viciously whipping the air into place as students anxiously watched her.

Was it something I said?

"Come on dude, you have to go!"

"No way."

"Come on, this party happens only like, once a year!"

I glared at him from beneath the pages of my textbook. I adjusted myself on my bed and ran my fingers through my jet black hair. "Nope," I paused, looking for my phone.

"Give me one reason I should go."

"There'll be hot guys— and girls there, if you appear everyone will come, you'll be the life of the party, you're always the star, dude!" I pursed my lips at Ryder's comment. He was right.

The last time I attended that party I was shitfaced for a week, I won ten rounds of beer pong and even managed to egg the frat house. Despite that, they seemed determined to have me come everytime as they mentioned that the party wasn't anything without me.

"Fine. I'll go," I could've sworn I heard something akin to a, 'yes!' as he turned around grinning at me. "First, though, I need to change my clothes, and you wouldn't believe what happen with Hannah."

I ventured to my closet and took out a short sleeved black shirt and a black leather jacket. I wanted to wear all black, it felt comforting. I chose my iconic black jeans and typical black and white Adidas.

"Dude, what happened? Did she go all crazy on you, because I swear that chick's crazy."

"Definitely," I pulled off my white shirt and black jeans, leaving myself in my grey briefs. I pulled on my black shirt as my six pack flexed. "She went crazy, and— I know this sounds crazy but— I could've sworn her eyes were glowing, hell, I might be going inside."

Pulling on my restricting jeans I slid a few condoms in my back pocket. I might need them tonight. I heard Ryder's breath hitch in his throat, did he know something?"

His dark brown skin stuck out against his blonde hair, his messy blonde strands dangled in his face as he wore a tight blue V-neck and a blue flannel shirt around his waist with blue jeans and white Jordans.

"Whatever man, you might be hallucinating," with that, he turned from me and began to viciously comb through his hair.

He was right. I had no doubt I could've been hallucinating, but why did I have a bad feeling in my gut something would happen tonight?

Pulling up to the booming frat house, I was skeptical seeing so many red cups already littered on the once green, grassy, pristine lawn. Students partied outside, chasing each other around and drunk people making advances on each other, knowing they would regret doing so later. The stench of alcohol and hormones permanates my nose as I got out of my car and Ryder stepped out.

"Just like last year," Ryder crossed his chest and I smirked. "Here, you'll need this," I give him an unexpected Trojan and walk into the house. "Have fun!" I cheered from behind me.

As I made my pathway down into the house, scared freshmen peered from behind each other and seniors patted me on the back as I was greeted with handshakes and inside jokes. I laughed and greeted them.

"Alin! Glad you could make it," a tall frat boy at the height of 6'1 smirked up at me, not taller than me. A short brunette clung to his arm, wearing a skimpy orange dress. "Derrick, thank you for inviting me back,"

Derrick's hair was smoothened into a quiff as he gave an egotistical grin. "No problem, everyone was invited, even the puny freshmen." I glared at him, truthfully, I despised him and his fraternity, as soon as I finished linguistics his frat house would be mine.

I gave him a smirk as a popular song came on and a petite fair headed girl with black hair cut to a bob and a choker asked me to dance.

After the song ended, her hips swayed and I was preparing to chase after her when a scrawny freshman came into my line of view. "A-A-Alin? Y-you're needed outside." He whimpered. I could see smack marks on his face.

I sighed and turned around, "923 Grey Merrick Street," he paused, confused. "If you go there that's where no frat member will think to look." He smiled at me and nodded, running away. I felt bad for him, a big party for him wasn't for a small freshman like him.

I went to the backyard and strode out to see a bunch of frat house boys and sorority sisters hanging around in a circle. "Up for a dare?" The brunette on Derrick's shoulder previously, taunts.

I smirk, I never back down from a dare. "I'm in."
