[COMPLETE] The Struggle

Chapter 10

A/N: This is the final chapter in this book alone, that Kawaii-Chan will be pregnant. She is nine months in this.

It was a nice, cool day. The beginning of winter was today! Zane was sound asleep, until the sound of Christmas music played in the house. 

"ITS WINTER!!" he said, waking up Kawaii-Chan. 

"Let's get the Christmas stuff!!" she said. You could hear the children, running around outside. Aliena and Leah were playing with Celesta, Aliena's dog.

As they were putting up the decorations, Kawaii-Chan looked over at the calendar. 

"Z-Zane.." she said. 

"What?" he asked. 

"As of today, I am going to be on baby watch!" Kawaii-Chan said, with joy.Zane looked over at the calendar. He then was tearing up. 

"Our sweet little princess is almost here!" he said. Kawaii-Chan smiled, and continued put up the decorations.

After they went on their back porch, Katelyn and Travis came in from the back gate. 

"Hey guys!" said Travis. 

"Oh Hi Travis!!" said Kawaii-Chan. "What are you doing here?"

 Katelyn looked over at them, holding out her hand. On her ring finger, you could see an engagement ring on  her. 

"Travis and I went to the carnival yesterday, and he proposed to me on the Sky Wheel." Katelyn said.

"ME SHIP HAS SAILED!!" shouted Kim. Everyone looked over to see Kim and Garroth, walking up to them. 

"Hey guys!!" said Garroth. "We overheard you guys talking, and is Kawaii-Chan already 9 months pregnant??" 

Zane got up from the stair case. He and Garroth walked by the pool. "All of that is true." said Zane. Then, he proceeds to push Garroth into the pool. After Garroth popped up out of the water, he pulls Zane in. "GUAAAAHHH!!!" shouted Zane.

Everyone laughed. Then, a sudden squeak, the one of a hamster or rodent, was made. Out of Kim's tiny purse, that was fit for a very small rodent, popped out the head of what was a hamster.  

"Oh!" said Kim. "Guys, I want you to meet Sapphire, our pet ." 

Garroth got out of the pool, and was only able to say one word before looking at Zane. He had swam to the end of the pool farthest away from Sapphire, and looked like a ghost.

"Let me handle this!" said Kawaii-Chan. She walked over to him, and kneeled down on to the floor. 

"N-N-an-ana!!" said Zane, terrified. "G-et that th-thin-thing away from me!!" 

"Hahahahha......no." she replied.

 With the help of Garroth, she pulled him of the pool, and dragged him over to Kim and Sapphire. "Zane, you need to get over your fear of hamsters one day or another!!!" Kim said. 

"Why today??" complained Zane. "Why not tomorrow, or the next day, or better, NEVER!?!?!?!" Garroth slapped him.

 "Zane, this is the closest to a hamster we have EVER seen you!" said Garroth. "We would go to the pet store, and you would always hide somewhere near the puppies, or the kittens!!"

That turned Zane bright red, and everyone, including Sapphire, was laughing. 

"Honey, you never told me that!!" said Kawaii-Chan. "The only thing you ever told me is that you took three years to po-" she was saying, but was stopped by Zane. 

"We said we wouldn't bring that up ever again." he said.

Everyone laughed. "Now Zane, can turn hold Sapphire?" asked Kim. Sapphire gave a cute, yet savage look. Zane then turned albino white. He tried to run inside, but was caught by Leah, who was inside somehow. "Hi uncle Zane!!" said Leah. 

"Leah!!" said Zane. "What are you doing here?"

Leah smiled, and dragged Zane back outside. "I herd there was an animal here, and since I am good with animals, I wanted to see it!" Leah responded.

Kim gave Sapphire to Leah. "Hello!" said Leah. "Your so cute!" Sapphire looked at Leah, and smiled. "See uncle Zane, you don't need to be afraid!" said Leah. 

"UNCLE?" said Kim, in shock and confusion.

"Kim, your an aunt, and I guess Zane just found out!" said Garroth. Kim was very happy. Leah gave a cute look, and turned back to Zane.

 "Now uncle Zane!" she said. "Hold Sapphire please!" Zane finally gave in, and took Sapphire from Leah. 

"W-W-What do I do?" Zane asked. "You smile for this camera, and get over your fear of hamsters." replied Garroth, who had a camera in his hand. Zane and Sapphire smiled for the camera, and they hung out for a little bit. Before they knew it, Zane was playing with Sapphire.

"Ok Zane, we need to take Sapphire back!" said Kim. Zane gave the hamster back to Kim, and they left. Travis and Katelyn left as well, and were telling everyone about the fact they had just gotten engadged, and the fact that Zane held a hamster. Kawaii-Chan and Zane went back inside. 

"I can't believe that you held a hamster!" said Kawaii-Chan. Zane was zoned out. 

"Fluffy fur....Fluffy......FLUFFFFFYYYYY!!!!" he said. Without warning, Zane tripped over the couch, and fell on the floor. Leah walked inside, and giggled. "When is dad going to pick me up?" she asked. 

"He will pick you up aroun-" Zane was trying to say, but was cut off by the opening of a door, and the shouting of Vlayd.

"MY BIG BROTHER HELD A HAMSTER!!!" shouted Vlayd.

"Uncle Zane held a hamster, and I got to hold it too!!" Leah said. 

"Sounds like fun!" Vlayd said, with joy. "But, Zane, I'm proud of you!" 

Later that day, Zane made dinner. He made Macaroni and Cheese, the huge, very cheesy kind. As they were eating, Kawaii-Chan's back was starting to hurt. "Honey,  my back is starting to hurt." Kawaii-Chan complained. Zane looked over at her. "Maybe if you sleep, it might feel better." he suggested.

After they ate, both of them went to sleep, and that ended their day.

                                                                           2:34 in the morning

Kawaii-Chan woke up, with a feeling that she knew was coming. "Honey, wake up!" she said, pushing Zane. Zane woke up, but was still very tired. 

"What is it?" he said, very tired.

"It's go time." Kawaii-Chan replied. Zane immediately got up, and got Kawaii-Chan ready. They got the house locked up, and drove to the hospital.
