"Daddy please don't do this." Hal slapped Betty hard on her face. Betty was bruised, was broken. Her mother, Alice wasn't home and Hal used advantage of her.

He used Betty to do the Register, made her do awful things like dealing drugs, beating the shit out of people, etc. "I didn't do anything!" Betty screamed, it was true she didn't do anything to Hal.

Alice was doing everything she can to avoid Hal. It was rumoured that Hal killed his own daughter, Polly. Betty and Alice didn't believe this. Yeah, he was a drunk and had drugs. But he wouldn't do this dtuff to us.

They believed him. And a few years later they abandoned Hal and moved far far away from him. The Town With Pep. It said. Riverdale, Betty believed this is her chance to be new. To renew her life.

Now here she is, listening, taking down notes like a good student. There was this one boy distracting her, he was wearing posh clothes, has a good haircut, and has a quirky face.

"Mr. Keller, why didn't you do your homework?" The teacher asked the boy. "I'm very sorry sir, it committed suicide since it had to many ex's."

Everyone except the teacher bursted into laughter. "Detention for a week Keller!" How come I still don't know this guy? He seems funny and nice. Although, his face looked familiar.

I raised my hand, ready to get detention to meet the Keller guy. "Sir, what's 9+10?" The same thing happened, everyone laughed but the teacher looked pretty pissed right now.

"Elizabeth Cooper, I did not expect to do this to me." The teacher pretended to be hurt, "Detention!" Mission accomplished.

Later at lunch, Cheryl wasn't at the cafeteria. Again. Betty groaned, Cheryl was her only friend. I guess it wouldn't hurt to go and talk to Keller?

After Betty got her tray and food, she found the guy from Math class sitting down alone. She walked towards him, "Hey! I'm Elizabeth Cooper." Betty said. He looked startled but he responded, "Kevin Keller. You have a gorgeous outfit today. I love it."

So, he's gay. Thank god. "May I sit? Cheryl kinda abandoned me." Betty asked. "Oh, sure! Don't worry, when I was new Cheryl did the same thing to me." Kevin frowned.

"But don't worry! Everything's fine since your here now! Tell me, why did you move here?" Kevin smiled. Should I really tell my past to Kevin? I don't think I can trust him, I mean I just only met him?!

"You don't have to tell me. I can relate, I had problems before transferring schools." Kevin placed his hand on mine. "Don't worry. I'm gay! We could go shopping after detention?" Betty smiled and they continued to chat.

"So, Elizabeth Cooper?" Betty heard a manly yet familiar voice behind her. She turned around to see Jason smiling to her.

"I'm sorry about what happened at the party." Jason apologized. "It's fine, you just stole my first kiss that's all." Betty said, while Jason was shocked.

"I-I was your first kiss?" Jason frowned, Betty slowly nodded. "Damn! It should've been memorable!" Betty chuckled. "Don't worry, I won't count it though. I mean it was just part of the game right?" Betty smiled.

All of a sudden, Jason kissed her. Slowly, and passionately. Was Betty falling for Jason? What about Jughead? She ignored all those thoughts, and kissed him back.

Little did they know, a guy with raven-colored hair, and a red-headed girl was watching the encounter far away.

"So, they want to play with us? We'll play with them." The red-headed girl smirked. While the guy, frowned.

oh hi guys, so sorry for not updating much! i use my ipad to write all my stories, but all of a sudden i kinda dropped it and now it's broken. i couldn't open it so that's why I've been inactive. but don't worry! it's our sem-break in our school so I can update! i'll probably update this wednesday or thursday. ;)

nonetheless, did you liked the chapter? I promise that bughead is coming! the drama just started, ouch sorry. but I kinda made Cheryl a bitch again like in the show. (cheryl's still my bae, god I love her)

oh and also, Kevin was introduced. yay! I hope you like my jokes, but I know that 9+10 joke is super corny and old, I'm so sorry. i just got influenced by my rl friends. (who btw is super corny) and Hal was the one who abused Betty, oh no!
