Part 5

For a while I left this book and I am so sorry but i never had time to update but now that I do I'm planning on continuing with this book , comment if I should or just leave it😬

Emma's pov;
"for fuck sake Daniel!" I say getting up once checking Mark was okay, "what do you think you're playing at!" I said shoving Daniels arm as hard as possible which proved pointless as he didn't even flinch backwards at my effort.  "I saw the note he wrote you, he was flirting with you!" Daniel says in a pathetic attempt of giving a reason, "what do you expect me to do, let him just take advantage of you being the new girl here" , and by this point I had heard enough, i scowled and looked him up and down giving him the best death stare I was capable of before turning to walk away, but not before I turned back around and made it clear that I wasn't his to protect, "I am not yours to look after Daniel! Maybe Mark was flirting , maybe he was just being nice but either way, it wasn't your decision to make on if it's okay for him to "flirt" with me or not so next time stay out of it" and then I walked away without either of the boys with me , leaving them both to watch me go.
What went on after that I wasn't there to witness but I didn't fail to hear about it when Daniel himself turned up at my door later on that night with a swollen black eye, I guess my little speech wasn't enough to get these idiots to cut it out, "Look Emma.." Daniel started before I cut him off  "I really don't want to hear it, it's my first day at this school and I was getting through it fine, I even had a potential group of friends before you punched one of them" I sighed as I sat down on the front step that me and Daniel had moved to after he knocked on my door, "and now I will have to go to school tomorrow and face everyone, I'll have to deal with the awkward silence as everyone watches me walk past them in the halls and then the gossip and whispers that go on as I walk past, as if that small distance can block me from hearing them, I'm new to this school but I'm not new to high school, I know how it works but what I can't work out is why you felt the need to punch him anyway" and as soon as I finish Daniel starts with his explanation "look Emma, I'm sorry I put you in that position and I'm sorry you had to see that side of me but me and Mark , we just have a bad history and I didn't like the thought of you hanging around with him, hopefully one day you'll understand.." Daniel says, going quieter when saying the last bit, as if saying it more to himself than to me, and I don't say anything because I can tell he truly is sorry so I just move up and place my head on his shoulder, leaving us in that comfortable yet empty silence one again.

Right I know how bad this update is and I know they're all very short too but I promise they will eventually get better & longer.
