I was somewhat irritated by the fact that I would practically have to be babysat by these four. I walked through the hallway with them leading me towards their dorm

Fox: so why did you come back?

Me: what do you mean?

Fox: well it's just that you could have gone anywhere, you clearly don't need to worry about being hunted down by the atlas military, so why come back?

Me: oh that, well to be honest I was curious

Coco: curious?

I nodded

Me: yeah, not every day that you get personally invited by the headmaster of a hunter academy just because your a criminal

They nodded

Velvet: I guess that makes sense, oh we're here

She said happily as she opened up one of the doors, I looked around the room and hummed softly

Me: hmm this will do, I suppose

I pulled out my phone and called an old friend

Dominic: oi what do you want?

The old man said in his usual gruff voice

Me: Dominic, it's me y/n, do you still have my cane?

Dominic: yeah, yeah I got your fucken cane, where do you want it sent?

Me: just have it in the usual place

Dominic: fine, anything else you need?

Me: no I'm all set, just say hi to Claire for me

Dominic: yeah sure, your cane will be there tomorrow

I hung up and put my phone back into my pocket

Coco: who and what was that?

She asked as she crossed her arms

Me: relax I was just putting in an order for my weapon to be delivered

She sighed and walked over to her bed and picked up a fashion magazine

Coco: fine, do me a favour and don't do anything illegal whilst we're in charge

Me: fine

I groaned as I sat down on the couch

Velvet: so y/n how do you powers work?

I chuckled

Me: well with most people I just need to tell them to do something and they'll do it but with someone who's unlocked their semblance I have to take...direct control

She sat down and looked at me curiously

Velvet: direct control?

I nodded

Me: yep, here let me show you

I said as I entered her mind. She looked around the dark void

Velvet: where am I!?!

Me: you're in your mind

I said as I appeared next to her

She looked around with a look of amazement

Velvet: so are you taking control of my body?

She asked curiously, I shook my head

Me: no but I could, right now both of us are lying unconscious, but in here I have access to your mind and body

She looked around the void we were currently standing in as if to try and understand how this was possible, she never will, I've been doing it for years and I still don't understand it

Me: well that's all I wanted to show you, I'll wake us up now

After saying that I disappeared leaving her alone, a few seconds later we both woke up to see Velvets team shaking her

Coco: Velvet wake up

Fox: what did that asshole do to you

Velvet: guys calm down he was just showing me how his powers work

Coco glared at me

Coco: you aren't to do anything like that again, got it?

I did a mock salute

Me: yes ma'am, now if you excuse me I'd like to sleep and since there's no extra beds I suppose I'll be sleeping here

I said as I laid down once velvet got up and walked over to her bed 'yep this is going to be interesting' I thought to myself as I drifted off to sleep
