"So Lulu," I said as I tucked my daughter into bed. "Are you exited for tomorrow? I mean, it's your first day of middle school, how could you not be excited?!" "I guess I'm exited." Lulu sighed. "I mean, middle school's so judgmental, I'll have to deal with cliques, and mean girls, and..." she shuddered, "algebra." I laughed and smiled. "Oh Lulu, don't you worry about any of that silliness. And besides, you won't have to deal with algebra until 8th grade, you're going into 6th." And you know what?" I asked her. "What?" Lulu replied. "In your lunch I packed a slice of Lulu's Lemon Merangue pie for dessert. What do you think of that?" "I'd like that a lot." Lulu laughed.
"Good night baby." I said kissing her good night. "Night Mama." Lulu replied sleepily. I smiled and went into my bedroom to try and calm my nerves about tomorrow enough to fall asleep.(So hi guys!
