Before we knew it, it was the day of the "wedding". I was pretty nervous, though not as much as I would be at my actual wedding. Dawn picked me up early so I could get ready at her house. There wasn't much to do, but I still enjoyed it. Dawn styled my hair and painted my nails, and Becky did my hair. We laughed and chatted, but I kept being distracted by the pains in my stomach. They were getting sharper and, scarily closer. They weren't contractions, were they? I just shook my head and put on a smile.
"Are you okay?" Dawn asked me. "Yeah, just nervous." I half lied. "Don't be, save the worries for the real one." She joked. I laughed and winced, ignoring the look my friends exchanged. "Are sure you're alright? We can call of the wedding?" Becky said. "I am fine!" I snapped. Becky sighed, but they didn't mention it anymore.
Dawn finished my hair and helped me slip into my shoes, while Becky came around and slipped my shall over my shoulders. They walked me over to the mirror and I gasped. I was beautiful. My dress was a shimmering pink, and fell just past my knees. My hair was in a beautiful half up knot on the back of my head, and I looked like a princess. "Thank you girls, I look beautiful." "You're welcome. Now let's go!" Dawn cried.
The diner was beautiful. It was decorated in whites, blues, and pinks. Jim was standing in front of a fake arch, and the local preacher was there to say a blessing. Lulu, Molly, Ogie, and Dawn and Ogie's son were all there. Dawn lined up beside the arch and Becky walked me down the isle. "Hi, I greeted Jim. "Hey." He replied. We said our vows and gave each other our rings, then we kissed. And then we partied. It was probably 11:30 by the time everybody had left. Jim drove us back while Molly and Lulu slept in the back. "You okay?" Jim asked me as we neared the house. "Yes." I snapped, annoyed at everybody's concern. Everybody put on their pajamas, brushed their teeth, and went to sleep. I was just about to get into bed when I doubled over in pain. I stood their breathing heavily when I suddenly felt it. My eyes dropped to the floor and I began to panic. A million thoughts raced through my head, but the main one was No, it's to early, not now, please god, no! I doubled over again and knew I had no choice. "Jim!" I cried out. He came racing in. "Jenna, oh my god, what's-" I looked at him with wide eyes. "I'm going into labor two months early!"
