She came back after school.

I was waiting for her at the usual spot I was at.

Of course, she knew that now.

"Where are we going today?"

"We're going to the fall carnival! I heard that there is gonna be lots of food!" She squealed.

That was a topic nowadays.

There were at least 3 out of 10 people were talking about it.

"Ok, let's go!"

"Wait. Not yet."

I looked through my clothes that I found.

This was the one I never wore.

And my mom bought it for me.

She said I could wear it when I grew up.

And it was special.

I took of my clothes Without bothering to turn around and once I finished, Lindsey had a scared expression in her face.

"What?"
"You're... You're too skinny for your age."

She was right.

I was skinny.

But I didn't mind.

"It's okay! Let's go now!"

She was in a trance.

I shook her.

She snapped out of it.

"Oh. Ok. Let go!"

Time skip~~~

We entered the carnival.

There were all sorts of yummy smells.

And one was so powerful, it brought me to it.

I walked towards the yummy smell wafting in the air.

I stopped at a stand that said:

"Kimchi"

I heard Lindsey follow behind.

I guess she saw me staring at the stand.

"You wanna try some?"

I nodded eagerly.

I thought if I had opened my mouth, drool would come right out.

She bought a bowl so we could share.

I snuck behind her while she was trying to get us a seat and stole a piece.

I stuck it in my mouth.

"Mmmmmm..."

It was so good.
