Chapter 3

 -Alexis's P.o.v.-

I left a couple minutes after he did so keeps thinking to myself should I date my ex again not knowing what to do at all I was lost in my mind when I was thinking about my ex. I got home and got ready for work then I go to work. I when into my work and I was making candy for the little kids. I didn't know my work wasn't that far from where I saw that really sweet guy was working at.

-3rd. P.o.v-

Skylar continued to make his way around town. He felt really bad for the girl and he knew there wasn't much he could do now since he had already left the cafe. A small sigh escaped his lips as he walked to a nearby park to clear his mind. Sitting down on a swing he tilted his head back, letting his light purple bangs spread over his eyes. He gave out his number and address to her so it was easy for her to contact him, but he knew that there was no way of contacting her as he didn't even get her name. "Hm.." he hummed before he leaned his head onto the cold metal bars. He soon felt something cold touch his arm. "Huh?" Looking up into the dark sky he noticed it was starting to rain.

A small frown appeared on Skylar's lips as he stood up and began to jog home. He knew it was supposed to rain today but he didn't think that it was going to rain so soon. Once he had gotten home he shook his head to let the excess rain come off. He then yawned as he walked into his kitchen to prepare himself a nice cup of hot chocolate. It was late october and halloween was soon coming up, that was his favorite holiday. Once his drink was made he smiled softly and took a small sip, letting that warm liquid fall down his throat. He giggled to himself before he went into the living room and grabbed his favorite book. Skylar then sat down on the couch and cuddled into his favorite blanket before he began to read, enjoying the rainy day.

-Alexis's P.o.v.-

My shift was over with so I got ready to go home so I walked past his place not knowing it was is place. I got a text message from someone I didn't really know who texting me.

-3rd. P.o.v-

Skylar read his book for a good hour before he decided he was just going to watch a movie. He went to go take another drink of his hot chocolate only realize that he had already drank it all. "Aww.." He pouted slightly before he got up to go make some more. While his hot chocolate was heating up in the microwave he went back into the living room to pick out a movie which happened to be, 'Divergent'. Putting the movie in he heard the beeps coming from the microwave so he went to go get it and add in his chocolate powder. Once that was done he came right back into the living room to watch the movie. Before the movie started he pulled out his phone and texted his childhood best friend, Jackson. They have been best friends for a long time, but they never really got to talk as much anymore. Skylar is hoping that maybe he could change that.
